About UsSchifflies India Ltd is one of the fastest growing shifli embroidery producers in India. There is a wide range on offer ¿ right from shifli to ethnic Indian hand embroideries like adda and aari, to crochette and multihead. The New Delhi operations started in Gurgaon in 1999 and the Cochin (Kalamassery) operations started in 2007. Embroideries and value added fabrics find their application in high fashion apparels, used extensively in the western markets of Europe and America. We are primarily into shifli embroideries that have a tradition of over 200 years since Adolf Saurer of Switzerland pioneered the invention of automatic shuttle embroideries. Today, thanks to technology, state-of-the-art embroidery machines run at speeds of over 600 rpm and are capable of producing more than 3,000 metres of embroidered cloth a day. Our aim is to blend ethnic Indian skills with high-end technology imported from abroad for producing exquisite garments. Our customers include India's premium garment exporters like M/s Orient Craft Ltd, Exotique International, Ambattur Clothing Company, Gupta Dyeing and Sarees, Modelamma Exports, Addi Industries, Orient Knits, Pearl Global and others. We are also approved vendors to foreign labels like Gap, Banana Republic, Tommy Hilfiger, Ann Taylor and Liz Claiborne. The demand for shifli is growing at a rapid pace over the years. As the stitching perfection delivered by these machines is virtually impossible to duplicate, most of the foreign buyers are shifting to shifli to make a fashion statement. Also, the unique designs produced in bulk ensure smooth production at the shop floor to meet the stringent demands of the export market.
