Si-gel (Textile Softener) is a hazy viscose liquid which is a silicone based compound. This lies within the range on 5-6 pH scale.

AMH (Sizing Agent) looks like a colorless paste which is basically an organic polymer based on amides. This lies between the ranges of 5.5-6.5 on the pH scale.

Application

• Applied by padding in 20-50gpl
• The chemical is recommended to be used with CMC, poly vinyl alcohol, poly vinyl acetate, starch and binders for high viscosity and body.

DDF (Dye Fixing Agent) is a light brown solution and is a compound based on amides. This lies in the range of 4-5 on the pH scale. It has the following features:

• Cationic in nature
• Soluble in water
• Excellent dye fixer

Application

• This is used to improve washing fastness of direct dyes through exhaustion and padding techniques.
• Exhaustion procedure in Jigger.
• This chemical is used in 2-5gpl at room temperature for half an hour with material ratio of 1:3 or 1:5 in a jigger or open soaper followed with ringing and drying.
• The material is padded with 50gpl at 50 degrees with a nip expression of 7%.

PNW (Wetting Agent) is a clear, colorless and slightly viscose liquid which lies between the range of 5.5 to 7.5 on the pH scale.

Application

• Excellent wetting and sourcing agent used in varied textile application

PW (Stiffener) is milky white emulsion and a polymeric compound. This lies in the range of 5-6 on the pH scale. It possesses following features:

• Has viscosity of 300-350 poise
• A concentrated stiffener for all types of fabrics
• Has solid content of 50+_1

Application

• Applied by padding, may be applied on jig, vat or by spraying on goods.
• This offers thin finish of fabrics such as cotton, voil, mull when used in 10-20gpl by Pad process.
• Rayon, synthetic yarn and fabric by exhaust process by using 5-20gpl.
• This is used in thread and net industries through exhaust process by using 10-15gpl.
• It also offers special finish to bukram when used 300-500gpl through pad process.
• Fine quality dress materials are given finishing by using 10-20gpl of SDM-PW, 5-10gpl of wax emulsion and 5-10 gpl of starch.
