Bottle Type Screw Jack

Bottle Type Screw Jack is suitable for general engineering applications. Body and cap is made of graded cast iron, screw is made of steel, threads are machine cut - square threads and has a serrated swivelling cap. The jack is available with either ratchet arrangement or plain four way head suitable for operation with ratchet or tomy bar respectively. The jack has quality finish and workmanship, it is guaranteed against manufacturing defects and designed to carry an overload of 25%.

Drum

Made from Rolled steel as per IS:226 of adequate thickness with side flange. Drum running on Bearing to take adequate rope length.

Shaft

Forged from EN-8 steel machine fitted with Drum. Chassis: Fabricated from joist of adequate size as per IS: 226 to take all shocks. All the stands on the chassis are Boxed type.

Reduction

1st Reduction: through Elecon/Radicon make worm reduction Gear Box totally enclosed running on oil.
2nd Reduction: through open machine cut Gear from carbon steel & pinion made of Alloy Steel duly heat treated.

Break

Electro Magnetic Hydraulic Thruster Brake of reputed make.
Mechanical Bend Brake with screw system with Ferrodo Brake lineing.
Extra safety Ratchet pawl arrangement on the side of the drum for not moving the drum in opposite direction for extra safety.

Coupling

We will provide flex. Brake Drum coupling on the out put of motor & Input of Gear Box.
Flex. coupling pin type on the output shaft of the Gear Box & In put shaft of the pinion.

Geared Monorail Travelling Trolley

Nominal 1.5 mm clearance to be allowed from edge of track flange to inside of wheel flange (3 mm overall on both side)
Overall width of geared travel trolleys - J + (1/2 x track width) + G. On 500 to 2500 Kg. units when using the narrower track widths the cross bolt adjusting washers are to be assembled such that the end of the cross bolt is clear of the hand chain wheel.
Weight of trolleys only exclude hand chain. Hand chain is 0.45Kg/m per linear length up to and including 2t capacity.
Bottom of hand chain loop is 460 mm from ground level.
Pusher bar fixing holes provided in all models.
Anti-tip stop fitted to all hand geared versions.
Buffers available as on option.

Bearings
The 4 1/2" Block is fitted with special bronze bush but can be fitted with taper roller bearings wIth special bronze bush if requested.
Capacity
The 4:1 capacity load given in the table are the maximum head fitting loads that should be applied to the Blocks.These capacity loads are based on a Fador of Safety of 4:1 and the Blocks are proof tested to twice this capacity load.The table also details a comparative capacity
load at Fador of Safety2:1 so that the users may compare the 'High Load' Blocks with alternative makes based on this Lower Safety Fador.
