This pump is used for dewatering from Building Construction sites (Water mixed with Saline, Oil, Ash etc.), Hydro / Thermal power stations, mines, sugar mills, municipalities, steel, cement plant etc. In it the dewatering pump is driven by transformer oil filled Submersible electric motor. The oil which acts as lubricant in the motor and keeps it cool and pump shall work even without being fully submerged. Following is the construction of our dewatering pump:

Construction : Dewatering pump below and motor above and suction inlet is at the bottom so that water is pumped from the lowest level and discharge outlet is at top. The motor (Squirrel cage-induction type) is protected against the contamination from surrounding water by mechanical seals. All parts are made from specially selected material to withstand against high abrasion and corrosion. It is portable pump and can be easily shifted to alternative site for re installation and withdrawal of the unit as well as replacement of normal wearing parts on site with minimum labor. For fixing, no foundation or pump house is required. The pump can be installed in vertical, horizontal or inclined position.

Design features: These pumps are centrifugal type of single stage with semi open impellers at bottom. The pumps can easily handle liquids, contain solids and have a tendency to polymerize or crystallize. Its advantageous feature lies in easy maintenance, simple mounting arrangement and requires no foundation.

Base plate: From our end, we supply standard range of base plate in mild steel. In case of requirement, cladding of competitive material can be given. Its vapor proof sealing can be given as per operating conditions.

Shaft coupling: These are designed on the principle of muff and it is coupled with split rings to support the weight and reduce the run out to negligible value. (Not applicable less than 1 Mtr. Pump S.D.)

Flushing: Its is self operational from casing discharge to all bearing bush in case of clear liquid and from external source by piping from base plate for handling liquids. These contain clogging material which is not affected by mixing of flushing liquid.

The semi open impellers are used / supplied where liquids, containing solids, or have a tendency to polymerize or crystallize. A special feature is easy of maintenance due to the foot mounted volute casing which permits removal of the rotating assembly without disturbance of pipe connections. The casing assembly is hydrostatically tested to a minimum of 1.5 times the shut-off pressure.
