For Lot PB-III Work at Parbati Hydroelectric Power Project - II Project, Two Inclined Pressure Shafts at an inclination of 30º were completed by using Mechanized Tunnel Boring Technique. One of its First Kind in Northern India - The Jagger -Seli JV succesfully executed the boring by using Double Shield TBM .This is the first time that TBM has been used for Inclined Shafts in Himalayan Strata which has been being successfully completed in record time & is referred as the most appreciated success in Himalayan Geology.
