We are Sensitive Industries group established in 1968 by the Company's founder Shri Gordhanbhai Jalavadia. He opened a small factory to manufacture Stationery Diesel Oil Engines mainly used for Agricultural and Generating purpose. Then diversify the product line to produce Electric Motors, Monoblock Pump Set, Submersible Pump Set, Steel Balls for Bearings, Electrical Laminated Sheet, Small Turned Auto Parts Components produced in CNC and VMC M/cs. Sensitive Industries has decided in the beginning of 2005 to start Modern Mechanised Foundry exclusive for S. G. Iron Casting / Ductile Iron Casting with initial capacity to produce monthly 300 MT of S. G. Iron / Ductile Iron Casting from 1 kgs. To 500 kgs. single casting weight suitable for Automobiles, Machine Tool, Diesel Engines, Pumps Industries. We have an area of approximate 8200 sq. yard in the heart of Rajkot City. It is only 3 KM away from Railway Station and Air Port.
Our annual group turn over is around USD $ 9.00 million.

We follow various international standards for S. G. Iron Casting as per following details :

We Believe
We at Sensitive Industries believe in "TEAM WORK" & hence committed to supply quality product on the basis of JIT principal as per buyer's specification. Every melt is subject to chemical analysis via latest German make 28 Channel Optical Emission Spectrometer to ensure conformity to the specifications. Further every melt is also subject to ON LINE ANALYSIS of Carbon, Silicon, Nodularity, Nodule count, Secondary Shrinkages, Solidification mode of treated metal: Hypo-Eutectic, Eutectic, Hyper Eutectic OR their Combination & Temperature measurement. All stages of manufacturing processes are carried out as per laid down procedures in process flow chart. Inspection of the product is being carried out as per ISO - 9001 - 9002 & procedure / quality plan to ensure customer's requirements.

Production Facilities
Melting Furnace : Electro Therm 2 nos. Medium and High frequency Coreless Induction Furnace with capacity of 500 kg. And 750 kgs. Melting rate of 500 kg/hr. & 750kg/hr. respectively.

SG Iron Treatment Ladle : 3 nos. specially designed S G Iron Treatment Ladle Lined with Ceramic bricks to avoid excessive slag formation.

Moulding : We have 2 nos. 450 kg. Capacities simultaneous jolt & squeeze machines with PLC Controlled moulding System to produce 60 mould/hr. We have a provision for installation of another 4 nos. of moulding Machines.

Automatic Sand Plant : We have complete PLC - Controlled Automatic Sand Plant consists of mould line, conveyor belts, elevators, over belt magnetic separator, magnetic pulley, sand siever, sand cooler, storage tank & intensive sand mixtures for sand preparation etc.

Core Making : We have 1 nos. Shell Core Shooter M/c. & 1 no. Cold Box Core Shooter M/c. to produced required cores.

Hand Moulding : Co2 hand moulding facility with maximum 500 kg. single Pc.

Cleaning & Finishing : Shot blasting machine with output at 400 tons/month. Heavy duty pedestal Grinders, Swing from Grinder. Disc grinders and Pencil Grinders for removing nack from casting.

Material Handling : By 2 nos. over head cranes of capacity 3 MT & 5 MT each & 1 no. Fork Lift and 6 nos. Hoist of Capacity 1.0 MT each.

Heat Treatment : In case of special S. G. Iron grade where heat treatment is required we have a tie up with one of our sister concern unit having ultra modem heat treatment facility.

Machining Facilities : We have 5 nos. CNC Turning Center, 1 no. VMC Machining Center & lots of conversional Lathes. Hence can supply duly machined components.

Future Planning
We want to produce Austempered Ductile Iron Casting specially Crank Shaft. Hence we are in process of procuring Tempering Furnace with quenching Tank. Target time is one year. Also want to double our existing capacity with in two years time.
