Sensitive Industries is a well known foundry manufacturing, supplying and exporting Iron Castings such as S.G. Iron Casting & Ductile Iron Castings and Machine Tool Castings like machines castings and automobile castings. With focus on developing & delivering best in class castings for automobile, marine and other heavy industries, we have been able to cater to markets across the globe.

Established in 1968 by the founder Shri Gordhanbhai Jalavadia, Sensitive Industries has made an enviable position for itself. Shri Gordhanbhai Jalavadia made a modest beginning with a small factory and manufactured Stationary Diesel Oil Engines primarily for Agricultural and Generating purpose. Time the factory yielded good returns and then diversified the product line to Electric Motors, Monoblock & Submersible Pump Set, Steel Bearing Ball, Electrical Laminated Sheet, Turned Auto Parts Components etc.

In was with the onset of 2005, Sensitive Industries started its Modern Mechanised Foundry exclusive for S. G. Iron Casting / Ductile Iron Casting. The facility was started with initial capacity to produce monthly 300 MT of S. G. Iron / Ductile Iron Casting from 1 kg to 500 kgs. single casting weight. These catered to the needs of Automobiles, Machine Tools, Diesel Engines and Pumps Industries. With consistent hard work we have presently carved a niche for ourselves and our annual group turn over is around USD $ 9.00 million.

The facility is located in an area of approximate 8200 sq. yard in the heart of Rajkot City,  only 3 KM away from Railway Station and Air Port. Our production facility is equipped with modern plant & machinery that backs us to meet customer demands timely. Our manufacturing unit has latest technology and sophisticated machines, enabling us to execute bulk orders.  The facility has the following plant & machinery installed:

·         Melting Furnace : Electro Therm 2 nos. Medium and High frequency Coreless Induction Furnace with capacity of 500 kg. And 750 kgs. Melting rate of 500 kg/hr. & 750kg/hr. respectively.

·         SG Iron Treatment Ladle : The unit has 3 nos. specially designed S G Iron Treatment Ladle Lined with Ceramic bricks to avoid excessive slag formation.

·         Moulding : 2 nos. 450 kg. Capacities simultaneous jolt & squeeze machines with PLC Controlled moulding System to produce 60 mould/hr support the moulding unit. Provision for installation of another 4 nos. of moulding machines is also available.

·         Automatic Sand Plant : The plant has complete PLC - Controlled Automatic Sand Plant consists of mould line, conveyor belts, elevators, over belt magnetic separator, magnetic pulley, sand siever, sand cooler, storage tank & intensive sand mixtures for sand preparation etc.

·         Core Making : We have 1 Shell Core Shooter M/c. & 1Cold Box Core Shooter M/c. to produced required cores.

·         Hand Moulding : Co2 hand moulding facility with maximum 500 kg. single piece is available for moulding.

·         Cleaning & Finishing : This unit is facilitated with Shot blasting machine with output at 400 tons/month; Heavy duty pedestal Grinders; Swing form Grinder; Disc grinders and Pencil Grinders for removing nack from casting.

·         Material Handling : 2 nos. over head cranes of capacity 3 MT & 5 MT each & 1 no. Fork Lift and 6 nos. Hoist of Capacity 1.0 MT each, support our material handling needs.

·         Heat Treatment : In case of special S. G. Iron grade where heat treatment is required we are associated with one of our sister concerns having ultra modem heat treatment facility.

·         Machining Facilities : We have 5 nos. CNC Turning Center, 1 no. VMC Machining Center & a number of conversional Lathes. Hence we supply duly machined components

We at Sensitive Industries look forward to produce Austempered Ductile Iron Casting specially Crank Shaft. Hence we are in process of procuring Tempering Furnace with quenching Tank. With target time set at one year, we are making optimum utilization of resources and also look forward to double our existing capacity with in two years time.

Our product range includes Iron Castings and Machine Tool Castings of different types. As a customer focused company we maintain stringent quality parameters in our processes. Every melt before use is subjected to chemical analysis via latest German make 28 Channel Optical Emission Spectrometer to ensure conformity to the specifications. Furthermore the melt is also put to ON LINE ANALYSIS of Carbon, Silicon, Nodularity, Nodule count, Secondary Shrinkages, Solidification mode of treated metal: Hypo-Eutectic, Eutectic, Hyper Eutectic OR their Combination & Temperature measurement.
