About UsSITPL was born in 2003 when Sarnoff Corporation opened its Bangalore technology centre. We come from a rich heritage that was involved in bringing the world such fundamental breakthroughs as color television, CCD, CMOS, LCD and High Definition Television. After four years serving Sarnoff and its clients we became an independent company that carries on the proud traditions of the past by bringing new solutions for today?s problems. Sarnoff continues to be a client and part owner in SITPL and we value the relationship and the continual learning that comes with it. |
Aim / Vision / MissionVision The Serial Innovators at SITPL are technologists who understand that the markets and the clients expect smart application of science to solve real problems. Our work focuses on the creation of value from raw data through smart analytics, especially in the areas of Vision, Video and RFID. We use these technologies to deliver relevant solutions and products that make our clients more successful. We are continuing the proud traditions of the Sarnoff Corporation and RCA who achieved technological milestones in color television, CCD, CMOS, LCD and other ubiquitous applications. Serial Innovations inherits from Sarnoff a very rich legacy in applied vision processing. Vision processing refers to the technique of inferring information from visual data. Visual data is inherently noisy and a good deal of statistical signal processing techniques goes into making meaningful sense of this data. Our experience in this domain ranges from design of pre-processing techniques that make the data amenable to good analysis to design and implementation of visual analysis tools on small footprint platforms. The analysis systems designed by us have found applications in active sensing for automotive safety, autonomous robotics, ground/aerial surveillance, medical and industrial inspection systems. Our clients include Tier 1 automotive vendors, defense labs and systems integrators.
