Infrastructure

The production facilities are situated at Kim and Karanj, Surat, Gujarat, (Western India). Our weaving plant comprises of Tsudakoma water jet looms which is the second highest water jet looms under one roof in India. Much of our power requirement has been met through captive gas based power plant and wind mills. We are having R.O. Plant for water requirement of water jet looms and ETP Plant for recycling of water and preserving the ecological balance.

Shahlon was awarded a Certificate of ISO 9001:2000 for its Quality responsibility efforts, by the KPMG in February 2004.

Quality Governance Shahlon Manufacturing has always recognized Quality as a Value, defining it as - Our customers and regulators hold us in the highest regard for the quality of our products and services.

On February 2004 KPMG has launched Quality as a Value for the entire Company with the introduction of a new Quality Standards. This recognition of Quality as a Value has now been embraced by all of Shahlon and stands side by side with our other 8 values: Integrity, Respect for People, Customer Focus, Innovation, Teamwork, Performance, Leadership and Community.

The Quality of Shahlon people and products has always been a part of the Shahlon heritage. Now, that same Quality is formally recognized as a Value for the Company and as a part of our Vision - one of the guiding principles by which we run our business.

Technology
Shahlon group has state of the art machines for processing of its products, RFID as state of the art communication setup at our several locations. We have Ramco ERP system up and running to build unique competencies and efficiencies. We believe that innovative technologies improve quality of life of our employees, customers as well as suppliers.

Achievements

Year 2008
The group’s Texture Yarn capacity further expanded to add 2 Texturising Machines.

Year 2007
The group established its expansion of 21 TFO’s Machines and 2 Wind Mill of 0.6 MW.

Year 2006
Capacity expansion carried out for Twisted yarn by installing 11 TFO Machines.

Year 2005
The group established its expansion of 190 water jet looms and 1.4 MW Gas based Power Plant. The group started Textile Engineering unit and manufactured 23 TFO machines for captive use.

Year 2004
The group’s weaving capacity further expanded to add 48 water jet looms.

Year 2003
A major initiative towards being carbon neutral was taken by establishing a Wind Turbine generating 1.25 MW of power for captive consumption. The year also witnessed the additional capacity expansion carried out by adding 2 Texturising Machines and 14 TFO machines.

Year 2001
The group established itself firmly in the textile world of India by commencing a mega project of 258 water jet looms with necessary weaving preparatory.

Year 1995
Fairdeal Filaments Ltd. Entered the Capital Market with IPO of Rs. 3.75 Crores for the expansion project of 4 Barmag Texturising machines.

Year 1992
A further expansion of 1 polyester yarn sizing machines.

Year 1990
The group established its first large manufacturing unit consisting of 2 polyester yarn sizing machines.

Year 1988
A further expansion of texturising unit of 98 spindles.

Year 1987
The promoters established a twisting unit consisting of 3 RPR TFOs.

Year 1984
The group had a very modest beginning with a weaving unit of 12 power looms in Surat, Gujarat.
