These staves are made from High precision aluminum alloy. They are lightweight but possess high strength. They are made mainly for JF Card and Mackie breaker but they can also be developed for other machines subject to the requirement. These staves are fitted with double tapered pins which help in easy knocking out while re-pinning. Metalag Staves have the unique property of interlocking thereby reducing the number of screws required for fitting. This helps in having more pins and gives better carding.

These staves are made from well seasoned quarter sawn Beechwood. Wooden staves are mainly of three kinds:
(1) Steel face (used mainly in a teaser card).
(2) Aluminum face (used mainly in a Breaker card).
(3) Wooden face ( used mainly in Breaker/ Inter Card/ Finisher).

All our staves are burnt marked as " Shalimar" so that even after many years of use one can identify the make.
