Dosh Nivaran Astrology
Nav Garah Shanti Puja - Astrologer
The term Navagraha denotes the nine celestial bodies which are central to astrological calculations (and beliefs) (and not the nine planets as it is frequently erroneously translated). The sun, the moon, mars, mercury, jupiter, venus, saturn and the two shadow planets Rahu and Ketu constitute the Navagrahas. The nine "grahas" or planets in our horoscope control our karma, our desires and their outcomes. Each of these nine planets exerts an influence in our lives, which is called "dasa" and it can be known from one's horoscope. Navagraha Puja is undertaken to reduce the negative effects and improve the positive energies related to a person.
Nadi and Bhakut carry maximum points 8 and 7 respectively in the point chart of traditional Match Making done by Gun Milan system prevailing in Indian Astrology. If any of these two shows 0 points in match making point chart, a defect is formed. For example if Nadi is showing 0 points, a Nadi Dosh is formed and if Bhakut is showing 0 points, a Bhakut Dosh is formed. But what are these defects called Nadi Dosh and Bhakut Dosh and what are the basis for assigning 0 points for Nadi or Bhakut which indicates the presence of Nadi Dosh or Bhakut Dosh in match making. Let’s analyze these defects and also know what are the remedies that can be done to rectify these defects.
If both Male and Female have Nadis which are different from each other, a score of 8 is added to the point chart and if both of them are having same Nadis, a score of 0 is added and Nadi Dosh is said to be formed. For example if the Male is born in Hasta Nakshatra and the Female is born in Ardra Nakshatra, both of them are having Aadi Nadi which is same and hence Nadi Dosh is said to be formed. Nadi Dosh is generally said to cause a divorce or separation if both Male and Female are having Aadi Nadi. Nadi Dosh is said to cause death of either one or both of the partners if both Male and Female are having either Madhya or Ant Nadis. This is why a Male and a Female having same Nadi are advised not to marry each other. However there are some aspects which are said to cancel the effects of Nadi Dosh. Nadi Dosh is said to be nullified if any of these conditions is met:
Moving on to Bhakut Dosh, if Moon Signs in the natal horoscopes of Male and Female are making a combination of 6-8, 9-5 or 12-2 with each other, Bhakut Dosh is said to be formed. For example, if Moon sign of the Male is Aries and that of the Female is Virgo, then Bhakut Dosh of 6-8 is said to be formed as the Moon Sign of Female is sixth counted from Moon Sign of Male and the Moon sign of Male is eighth counted from Moon sign of Female. Similarly Bhakut dosh is considered for 9-5 and 12-2 placements of Moon signs. It is said that the Bhakut Dosh of 6-8 can cause death to either of the partners, Bhakut dosh of 9-5 can cause delay, denial or loss of progeny and Bhakut Dosh of 12-2 can cause poverty. However, Bhakut Dosh is said to be nullified if any of the following conditions is observed :
If the Lord of Moon Signs is the same, Bhakut dosh is said to be nullified. For example 6-8 Bhakut dosh is said to be nullified in case of Aries-Scorpio and Taurus-Libra and 12-2 Bhakut dosh is said to be nullified in case of Capricorn-Aquarius.The actual damage caused by Nadi Dosh and Bhakut Dosh is however different for different couples depending upon some other important aspects present in both the horoscopes. These defects can do potential damages if some other serious defects like Manglik Dosh, Pitra Dosh, Kaal Sarp Dosh, Shani Dosh, Rahu Dosh or Ketu Dosh are present in one or both of the horoscopes along with Nadi Dosh and Bhakut Dosh whereas the bad effects of Nadi Dosh and Bhakut Dosh can be controlled comparatively easily if there are some good yogas present in one or both the horoscopes being considered for Match Making . Therefore the important factors mentioned in the article named Match Making should also be seen and considered in the horoscopes of the couples, to predict accurate results.
Shani Dosh Nivaran Puja
Shani Dosh Nivaran Puja is used to propitiate an afflicted Shani/Saturn and achieve Rajayoga through absolute sanction of Shani. When Saturn is afflicted in a horoscope, the performance of this puja is very beneficial. Shani Yantra/Saturn Yantra is useful, when one feels depressed. It indicates success in worldly affairs, success in business and the man touches the dizzy heights. This Puja is performed to seek the blessing of Shani. The effects of Shani-Dosha are smoothened and controlled by performing Shani Dosh Nivaran Puja . This pooja is meant for justifying the shani dosha. The position of Shani in Specific House of the natal Horoscope or Gochar Position (Sadesati etc.) causes Suffering to the native. Shanti of the same is done by performance of Puja. Saturn is slow moving planets so its effects is very slow. In this way this pooja helps to improve positivity for shani.
Gandmool Dosha Remedies
GandMool Dosh is a defect which is found in almost every 4th to 5th horoscope according to its prevalent definition and is capable of causing serious problems according to some prevalent beliefs in Indian Astrology. So let’s take a look at this defect, know how it is formed, what problems can it pose and what are the remedies for this defect? According to its definition, if the Moon is placed in any of these 6 Constellations or Nakshatras named Revati, Ashvini, Ashlesha, Magha, Jyeshtha or Moola in birth horoscope of a person, the person is said to be born under GandMool Dosh. Which means that placement of the Moon in 6 out of 27 Nakshatras confirms the formation of this defect according to its general definition which is certainly not the case in my opinion. So let’s look further deep into the formation of this defect and see what actually happens when the Moon is placed in these Nakshatras. There are 27 Nakshatras which follow each other in a cyclic order. Every Nakshatra has four Padas or four parts. Every planet is placed in one of these 27 Nakshatras in one of the 4 Padas. Since GandMool Dosh is formed by the placement of the Moon in any of the above mentioned Nakshatras, so let’s consider this explanation with the Moon moving through all 27 Nakshatras. As the Moon leaves a Nakshatra and is about to enter the next Nakshatra, there comes a point where the two Nakshatras coincide which means that the end point of one Nakshatra coincides with the starting point of the next Nakshatra. Such coincidence can be found 27 times as there are 27 Nakshatras. Now let’s move on to the Zodiac Signs or Rashis which are 12 in number and follow one another in a cyclic order just like the Nakshatras. When the Moon leaves one Rashi and enters the next Rashi, there comes a point where the two Rashis coincide as in case of Nakshatras. Such coincidence can be found 12 times in case of Rashis as there are 12 Rashis. Knowing this much, now let’s get to know exactly how is GandMool Dosh formed. Now we know that each Nakshatra and each Rashi is coinciding with the previous and next Nakshatra and Rashi at some point. But there are only 3 cases when both of these coincidences are happening at the same time. That is, a Nakshatra is coinciding with a Nakshatra and a Rashi is Coinciding with a Rashi at the same time. And if the Moon is placed in any of these Nakshatras at the point of these double coincidences, the Moon is supposed to be negatively affected and accordingly a GandMool Dosh is said to be formed. For example, let’s take the first case of Revati and Ashvini Nakshatra. Revati is the 27th Nakshatra and falls under the Rashi named Pisces and the fourth pada of Revati Marks the end point of this Nakshatra as well as the end point of the Rashi Pisces. Moving ahead, Ashvini is the 1st Nakshatra and the first pada of Ashvini marks the starting point of this Nakshatra as well as the starting point of the Rashi Aries. So if the Moon is placed in the fourth pada of Revati or the first pada of Ashvini, it comes under the impact of double coincidence of Revati-Ashvini and Pisces-Aries and GandMool Dosh is considered to be formed. Likewise the fourth and the first pada of the 9th Nakshatra Ashlesha and the 10th Nakshatra Megha respectively mark the end point and starting point of the Rashis Cancer and Leo respectively and if the Moon is placed in the fourth pada of Ashlesha or first pada of Magha, GandMool Dosh is considered to be formed. And in the next case if the Moon is placed in the fourth pada of the 18th Nakshatra Jyeshtha or the first pada of the 19th Nakshatra Moola which mark the end point and starting point of Scorpio and Sagittarius respectively, GandMool Dosh is considered to be formed. So in easy language, whenever moon is placed under the double coincidence of Nakshatras and Rashis, GandMool Dosh is said to be formed.
Tara Dosh In Kundali Matching
Tara is a koot or aspect which carries 3 points or gunas according to the system of gun Milan which is used by many astrologer practicing in Vedic Jyotish for the purpose of kundali matching or match making between two individuals. The system of gun Milan is the most popular system in India when it comes to do a kundali matching or match making for the purpose of marriage and compatibility. This system of gun Milan has been in use since the Vedic ages and even today it is considered as the best possible solution for kundali matching or match making and many astrologer and most of people still believe that gun Milan is a complete process of kundali matching or match making in itself and nothing else needs to paid attention for the purpose of kundali matching. For the new readers who are not familiar with this system of gun Milan, let me mention here that the system of gun Milan is based on matching 8 aspects or koots from both the horoscopes which are called Varna, Vashya, Tara, Yoni, Graha Maitri, Gana, Bhakoot and Nadi and all of these 8 koots are assigned 1 to 8 points or gunas respectively which make a total of 36 and a final score is calculated for a particular horoscope matching or match making based on how good or bad is the matching of each one of these 8 koots. Tara lies at 6th position from the top and accordingly it carries 3 gunas or points and different number of gunas or points are assigned to a kundali matching or match making based on how the tara of bride and groom match with each other according to the rules of gun Milan.
Manglik Dosh Nivaran
According to the prevalent definition of Manglik Dosh in Indian Astrology, it is said that if Mars is placed in any of the houses 1,2,4,7,8 or 12, in a Horoscope where the rising sign or the Ascendant is taken as the first house, Manglik Dosh is said to be formed in that horoscope. This Dosh is usually said to delay the marriage of the affected person and create disturbances even after marriage or in the worst cases it may cause the death of the spouse. And it is advised by some astrologers that a person having a Manglik Dosh in his or her horoscope should only marry a person who also has Manglik Dosh in his or her horoscope. According to these astrologers, the bad effects of Manglik Dosh present in a horoscope are reduced or even canceled if the person marrying the first person is also having Manglik Dosh in his or her horoscope. As we now know the basic definition of Manglik Dosh, so let's analyze it further. And for the convenience of foreign readers I would like to mention that any person suffering from Manglik Dosh is called a Manglik. So when someone says "I'm a Manglik", it simply means that they have Manglik Dosh in their horoscope or at least they've been told so. Now let's move further.
Pitra Dosh Nivaran (Solution) Puja
Coming to the puja which is performed to rectify the malefic effects of Pitra dosh formed in a horoscope, it should be noted here that there is no single fixed puja to rectify Pitra dosh present in a horoscope and a Pitra dosh nivaran puja can be different for different natives. In order to find as to what kind of puja should be performed for niavaran of Pitra dosh in a horoscope, it should first be checked from the horoscope as to which malefic planet is forming Pitra dosh in the horoscope and once that malefic planet is detected then a Pitra dosh nivaran pooja should be performed for that planet in order to rectify Pitra dosh present in the horoscope or in order to reduce the strength of such Pitra dosh present in the horoscope. This is the most important step which should be properly conducted before performing a Pitra dosh nivaran puja because not knowing the exact cause of Pitra dosh in a horoscope will simply lead to some kind of puja which is not meant to rectify such Pitra dosh and accordingly such pooja will not help much or help at all. Therefore the malefic planet forming Pitra dosh in a horoscope should first be detected and then a Pitra dosh nivaran puja should be performed to pacify that planet so that the strength of such Pitra dosh may be reduced in the horoscope because once the malefic planet forming Pitra dosh in the horoscope has been pacified, the negativity of such planet as well as the strength of Pitra dosh formed by that planet will reduce.
