Liquid Potassium Silicate |
Potassium Silicate is manufactured in different specification ranging from Wt. Ratios 1 : 1.3 to 1 : 2.4 and in liquid form having specific gravity raising from 24o to 55o Be (Sp. Gr. 1.24 - 1.60). It is manufactured by fusion process of Silica Sand with Potassium Carbonate / Caustic Potash at a very high temp. of 1200 oC in oil fired furnace.
