Incepted in the year 1974, Shanti Iron & Steel is one of the
prominent organizations engaged in manufacturing, machining and
supplying of different types of grey castings components like water separator, feeder wall, side wall, block cover, turrent body, middle slide, gear casing, water separator, middle slide.
An ISO 9001:2000 certified company; we supply our durable and ready to
use assemblies to various OEM’s from diesel engine, tractors, tillers,
machines tools, automobiles and other similar industries. We also
conduct machining for reconditioning of lathe beds, slides, vessel and
valve cover and the products provided by our customers. Leveraging on
our in-house foundry, stress relieving, painting, machine, assembling,
testing and other facilities, we are able to meet the bulk demands of
our clients within the stipulated time frame. Our ethical business
practices and customer-oriented approach has helped us in achieving an
appreciation award from Kirloskar Oil Engine Ltd. in the supplier meet

Our Journey Over the years we have passed different phases and have successfully crossed all hurdles that came in our way, before reaching this position in the international arena. Some of the vital years and changes are as follows:
In the year 1974, we came into existence and started the manufacturing of grey iron.
Later on we expanded our foundry-unit II in the year 1990.
In the year 2000, we installed our very first CNC machine.
Owing to our dedication and hard work we were honored with ISO 9002:1994 certificate from TUV Rheinland, in the year 2001
With the mechanization of our foundry in 2001, we installed moulding machines, sand plant and mould conveying system.
Our second VMC machines were installed in 2002 and were followed by cold box core shooter in 2003.
In the year 2003, our ISO 9002:1994 was upgraded to ISO 9001:2000
We set up HMC Makino a61 with CNC CMM and HMC a51 Makino Machine in the year 2005 and 2006 respectively.
The capacity of our foundry phase II was expanded with the installation of HMC Makino a61 Machine in the year 2007

We deal in a huge assortment of grey iron castings components for
various OEM’s. Our facilities include pattern manufacturing,
modification, repair and storage of the same. We use high grade
aluminum, wood and resin to make latest patterns under the supervision
of our pattern specialists. Based on our match plating facilities we
specialize in fabricating durable sump, turrent body, sealing
piece, rock cover, gear case, oil sump, gear casing, oil pan, turret
body, water separator, feeder wall & side wall, block cover, middle

Our manufacturing plant is spread in an area of 2000sq.ft and has requisite facilities for efficient and flawless production. Installed with latest machines, our production unit has an installed capacity of 3000 unit that makes it easier for us to achieve an annual production of around 6000MT. Our maintenance department works round the clock to keep our machines in good working conditions in order to minimize the total breakdown time.
We use different procedures and machines to meet the qualitative and quantitative requirements of our clients on time. We operate on a well defined electronic database processing system that interconnects our entire departments with ERP software. This allows our workforce to access information from different units and helps to avert any kind of confusion or discrepancies. Our latest CAD software facilitates us to view, send or receive CAD files from our client’s side for customization of products or from our in house departments.

We have devised a quality policy that concerns with the involvement and inspiration of our employees to achieve complete customer satisfaction by fulfilling their qualitative and quantitative requirements. Our quality auditor conducts different tests on the raw material and customer supplied products such as pattern, jigs & fixtures with the help of gauges & allied instruments. Further they keep a strict vigil on the entire processes and immediately rejects & eliminates any defective product from the process.

Our Core Team
We operate in a set hierarchical structure that help us to execute our tasks efficiently and without any discrepancies. The company is running under the able guidance of our CEO managing director and chairman, who handles technical operations, marketing and finance respectively.
The technical and operation departments are supervised by foundry manager, maintenance in-charge, CNC in-charge, machine shop in-charge and comprises of technical support, lab in-charge, production supervisors, packaging experts, machines operators and other workmen. Apart from that we also have quality auditors, HMC in-charge, accountants, sales and tax officers, HRD personnel, store in-charge, invoice executives and other professionals.
Our entire business activities are conducted with utmost meticulousness and all our operations are executed in coordination by our team members. This ensures uninterrupted business and smoother production.

All the raw materials of production, including customer supplied products are inspected & tested before handing over to the production department. All the raw materials are procured from the approved suppliers only. Raw materials, customer supplied products like pattern and jigs & fixtures are checked in house while gauges & instruments are calibrated by approved external calibration agency. All the above are accepted or rejected as per respective quality plans. Only accepted material will be stored at identified locations.
