We offer relay test sets to our clients that is useful for testing of single phase protection equipment for under and over voltage, current leakage, over current, distance and directional relays and also for conducting ratio tests for PT's and CT's and plotting the excitation curves.

These sets comprised of components like auto variable transformers, loading current transformer, automatic cut-off, contractor, capacitor & resistors for phase shifting, operating switches and meters for output parameters and an electronic time interval meter, fitted compactly in a sturdy FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) cabinet or 20” VIP suitcase. The current and voltage outputs of these sets are variable and is automatically cut off on the activation of relay under test. They are provided with different terminals for relay connections and range of output voltage and current. The control panel of these sets are provided with variac knobs, indicators, toggle & push switches, voltmeter and ammeter and timer.

Oil BDV Test Set

We manufacture and export a diverse range of oil test sets for our clients across the global markets. These quality approved instruments are used for testing the dielectric strength of the insulating liquids of a high tension transformer. These insulating liquids must possess a high dielectric strength. Their dielectric strength is measured by passing a very high voltage through them. If the insulating liquid fails in the test the device will show a spark between its two electrodes. We manufacture these oil test sets in different models and voltage ranges conforming to the quality standards like IEC-156 and IS: 6792/1972. Our oil test sets consist of different parts like H.T. transformer and oil test cell (with electrodes & gauge), control panel, fitted in a sheet-metal cabinet with an acrylic covered housing for the oil test cell.

The control panel is fitted with the high quality operating components like, mains, HT and on & off switches, voltmeter, green and red pilot lamps for Mains On and HT On indication, fuse, 1.5 meter cable for mains connection. The HT transformer of these sets are compactly designed for efficient operation in various conditions.

We have equipped our test sets with a micro-processor controller, motorized variac, a printer and HV transformer, housed in M.S and FRP cabinet. The control panel of the test set is provided with all the essential controlling switches necessary for easily operating these instruments. DC High Voltage Test Set

We design and develop a superlative range of DC high voltage test sets that are designed for testing various high voltage electrical equipment like cable fittings, 11 KV and 33 KV cables and switch gears. Our cutting edge instruments are also used by many of our clients in their high voltage installations for testing purposes. The tests are initiated by first supplying the desired voltage and then checking the leakage of current. These leakages are indicated by the meters of these instruments. The indications calculate the insulation resistance and dielectric strength of the devices and equipment that are being tested with these instruments. These test sets are compact and housed in a sheet metal box.

Sakova AC high voltage test sets are designed for testing various electrical equipment and consist of a double wound HV transformer with the high tension end is brought down and ended on a spring loaded rod for testing up to the rating of 5 KV. The last end of the high tension winding is also brought down, through intermediate circuitry and is ended on the earth connection. If the current in the under test equipment increases above the prescribed value, the intermediate circuitry allows for the tripping the supply to the high tension transformer. We have equipped it with the provision of a zero start interlock switch and variac which allows the slow application of high voltage to the test specimen.

We have provided these instruments with the indicating lamps on the control panels that for indication of Mains on and H.T. on. It is also provided with a voltmeter to effectively indicate the high output voltage. If at a point of time, the system under test system faces the failure the power supply to the voltmeter is not interrupted whereas the power supply to the HV transformer is instantly switched off. We offer these testers of 10 KV rating housed in a single sheet metal covering while those above this rating consist of HV transformer and a control unit that is made from the sheet metal itself. We manufacture them up to the output range of 60KV.

Primary Injection Set

A primary injection set is offered by us within our range of high grade electric testing instruments. The injection set is a high current supplying unit. Built with a stringent attention to the clients requirements of high quality, flexible usage and performance, our test sets are modular, accurately and compactly designed. Our range of primary injection sets PIS-1000 and PIS-600XT are housed with an accurate ammeter and comprises of one or two compact units, that is current and control units along with suitable metering and terminals accommodated within painted and powder coated M.S. cabinets. These primary injection sets meet the requirements of easy mobility through their capability of mounting upon the trolleys provided along with these sets.

The circuit breaker timer is high tech testing instrument that we offer to our national and international clientele. It is a very compact and portable instrument. It consists of three programmable time interval meters with necessary terminals, indicators, and switches housed in an aluminium and a wooden box laminated with mica sheet. Two terminals for the power supply to the terminal of trip/close coils. Also three pairs of terminals are provided for contact to relays or circuit breakers. The timer operates on an an input voltage of 230 V AC. The time interval meters of this device records the trip/close timing of each of the contacts automatically and possess a memory retention of 10 years.

Insulation Tester

The most simple and common cause of the electric break down is the failure of insulation. It needs a regular testing for uncovering the weaknesses of insulation before any serious damage happens. These testers are used for testing the insulation of power distribution lines, electrical rotating machines, insulators, control and switching equipment, communication cables etc. These instruments are sturdily designed and equipped with a hand driven generator and a solid state circuit for stabilizing the DC output. These insulation testers shows and measures the ratings and shows it on a logarithmic scale. We have made these testers to comply with the Indian quality standards like IS: 2992-1980.

Contact Resistance Meter

The contact resistance meters we offer in the market are used for effective and accurate measurement of the resistance of male-female contacts of isolators, GTS breaker contacts, bus bar joints and SF-6 breaker contacts. It is done by applying a variable DC current ranging from 0–100 amperes and measurement of the voltage drop along their contacts. We have housed it in an unbreakable body made from FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) within MS fabricated box for easy transportation to prevent it from any kind of damage. The ammeter and millivoltmeter (Micro-ohmmeter) measures the current flowing in the contacts of the electrical equipment. A variac incorporated to adjust the output current from 0 – 100 ampere.
