We, Coimbatore based Shekar Cargo Containers Pvt. Ltd were introduced in the year 2006 as the Container Manufacturing Division of Sekar Sheet Metal Works. We are immensely assisted by our parent company's extensive industry experienced and other associated proficiencies. We are empowered with a young dynamic team of professionals & industry versed personnels, who help us in understanding the industry needs & present customized range of solutions as per the aspirations of our customers.

Our proven quality & economical range of cargo containers and other allied products are well recognized in the entire container industry. The products which are present in the product range are Dry Cargo Containers, Mobile Work Shop Containers, Container or Pre Built Body, PUF Insulated/Refrigerated Containers, Bunkhouse, Office Container / Portable Cabins, Kitchen Containers, Accomodation Bunkhouses, Office Bunkhouse etc. Our entire business is continuously upgrading under the auspices administration of Mr. L. Rajasekaran.

To ensure flawless range of cargo & other allied containers, we use superior standard smild steel as raw materials. These raw materials are procured from well recognized suppliers, like TATA, SAIL etc., which further standard and customized range of products as per international standard. The entire production process is undergone through a rigorous quality inspection process to ensure avenge free customized range of production as per the specifications of our clients.

We were established as a subsidiary of our parent company Sekar Sheet Metal Works with independent portfolio of manufacturing international standard cargo containers and other other allied containers. All these products are extensively used in a wide range of industry & other applications. Our entire container assortment consists of Dry Cargo Containers, Container or Pre Built Body, PUF Insulated/Refrigerated Containers, Bunkhouses, Office Container / Portable Cabin, Kitchen Container, Accomodation Bunkhouses, Office Bunkhouses, Bunkhouse for store, toilet, etc.

Raw Materials

As per our industry based reputation and capaciousness in manufacturing and delivering durable range of high quality products, we procure only proven grade of raw materials from highly reliable suppliers. The principal raw materials used in our manufacturing process is mild steel, which is procured from institutes like TATA, SAIL etc. At the time of purchasing, we take the quality test certificates from the concerned suppliers.

We have been continuously flourishing under the able guidance of our pioneer Mr. L. Rajasekaran, who has extensive industry experience in relative field. Prior to entering into this manufacturing business, he worked independent as a well recognized supplier of OE sheets for around two decades. He supplied OE sheets to many reputed manufacturers including M/s. Ashok Leyland, LMW, ELGI Equipments etc.

We have also participated in various trade fairs for promoting our business . These include:

• In the year 2006, we have participated in Auto Show at Codissia, Coimbatore.
• In Feb 2008, we are going to participate in INTEC trade fair. Stall No : 397 at CODISSIA , Coimbatore from Feb 1st- 6th.

We have a capacious infrastructural facilities, which consists a manufacturing set-up spread across 10,000 sq. ft of area along with efficacious assortment of machinery. These durable & high efficient machinery assist us in manufacturing containers at par to international standards. These include Welding Machine, Grinding Machine, Shot Blasting, Painting machine, Shearing Machine, Press Brake, Power Press etc.



We are empowered by a young dynamic team of industry professionals, who have extensive industry experience. Their adroitness and industry in-sights bring high developed products that fetch immense satisfaction of our clients.



Further to bring efficiency in our business processes, we have divided the entire activities into several departments including Account, Production, Storing & Quality Control. Collectively these facilities enable us to boost-up our production capacity up to the level of 20-25 containers per month and annual turnover up to the range of Rs. 1.25 crore.

In accordance with our commitment of offering customized range of products to meet the various needs of our customers, we have procured all types of requisite customized facilities. Our skilled and well trained personnel effectively execute all these facilities that assist us in further up-gradation of our business scope.

Our capacious and adroit in-house design house enable us to impart varied customized designs on the initial products and expand their acceptability. Further, the use of latest design softwares including CAD, CAM, Auto CAD etc., enable us to meet & deliver sophisticated designs requirements as per the specifications of our clients.

With the endeavor to cater the needs of the niche market and satisfy the specific requirements of our reputed clients, we have imposed stringent quality control procedures on the entire manufacturing process. The scope of our quality control mechanism cater the entire scope of manufacturing including the pre-production and post-production activities.
