The Cut Sheet Laminating principle is well established in the baking industry, and has many advantages over folding lamination, including the uniformity of dough sheet construction and density across the laminated width. The laminator can be used for a variety of dough from hard sweet to very hard cracker dough. The machine receives continuous dough sheet , which is cut in to equal lengths before layering onto the out feed conveyor. The number of lamination required is controlled by the speed of the out feed conveyor.

Rotary Moulder has been designed and developed to deposit dough piece shapes continuously and directly onto an oven band or via a swivel panner. The machine is normally fed by a dough feed system although manual loading can be applied. The rotary moulder can be incorporated as an attachment to a complete cutting machine.

The operation sequence is – the base shells are fed via an inclined hopper chute on to the conveyor. Accurate location of the biscuit shell on the conveyor enable the correct shape and quality of cream to be deposited from the bowl as the base shells pass underneath the nozzles. Cream topped base shells then pass beneath the second chute from which the top shell is placed to from the sandwich. The sandwich then passes under the adjustable pressure skid, providing the correct height of biscuit prior to stacking and delivery.
