About UsShinko Enterprises is a partnership firm specialized in manufacturing of plastic molded components used in the electrical and electronics industry. The firm is located in Lonavla Industrial Estate, which is centrally located between Mumbai and MIDC belt of Pune.
The firm was founded by Mr. M. G. Bhat in the year 1981 in response to the growing needs of Automatic Electric Ltd. (AEL). The company was initially set up as an ancillary unit to cater exclusively to AEL, but over the years the company has actively sought to expand its customer base and today also caters to the requirements of other manufacturers in and around Pune.
Currently, Shinko processes more than 250 items. For majority of the items, moulds are supplied by the customers. However the current trend is towards providing total solutions to the customer including mould design and manufacture along with processing. SE has thus added tool room facilities and developed sub-vendors for mould design and manufacture.
Most of the items find usage in measuring instruments such as voltmeters ammeters, transducers and motors. Many of them are having sophisticated designs requiring special moulds/tooling and all items are made from special engineering plastics such as Polycarbonate, PBTP, ABS, Nylon, Delrin, DMC, and Bakelite
SE is one of the few molding units which have developed competence and expertise in molding complicated items using hi-grade engineering plastics and on both conventional & CNC molding machines
Company has been certified for ISO 9001:2000 by the noted accredition body NQAQSR in December 2003 . Shinko is already meeting the stringent quality requirements set by our major customers such as AE, itself an ISO 9001 certified company and which exports majority of its products ,using our processed components, to demanding markets such as UK, Germany, Holland and Italy among others |
