About Us

Shivalal Agarwala and Company is a prominent educational publisher of northern India. We primarily publish educational books for school and college students.

Shiva Lal Agarwala and Company started its journey way back in 1940. It was set up by Shri Radhey Mohan Agarwal who was a determined freedom fighter. He felt the need of quality and authentic books on History and therefore started publishing books on the subject. It is a matter of proud privilege of having published books authored by several eminent personalities of our nation, prominent among them being Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Dr. Pattabhi Sitaramayya, Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, Historian Shri Jadunath Sarkar, G. S. Sirdosi, A. L. Srivastava.

With the advent of different educational boards and the growing need of school education, Shivalal Agarwala & Company started publishing books to meet such requirement. Slowly and steadily, the Company continued to add more titles for primary and secondary classes as well as for undergraduate classes. Currently the Company publishes more than 500 Titles covering the syllabi of different boards and universities in various subjects.
