• Steam: These systems offer a range of vacuum levels by using steam as a motive fluid. Single stage units are suitable for low vacuum use; whereas high vacuum applications require multistage designs with inter-condensers
• Steam jet liquid: These systems are used for transporting, discharging, or heating liquid by using high speed steam as the motive fluid
• Liquid: These are used to suck and mix, transport, or compress fluids by using high speed fluid (generally water) as the motive medium
• Air: These are generally installed in the suction line of a water sealed vacuum pump. They generally use atmospheric air as the motive medium
