NI-CR Alloy For Cast Restorations (Non-Precious Alloy ):

• It is in the form of rectangular pellets each weighing appx 6gms
  Nominal Composition:

Ni – 52%; Cr – 14%; Mn – 17%; Cu – 10%; Fe – 4%; rest – 3%

Properties & Advantages

• It is beryllium free alloy with excellent castability

• It is reusable with addition of appx 50% fresh metal during recasting.

• It can be cast in open flame.

• It has got good burnish ability and is easy to finish.

• It can be used for making cast crown bridge and pontics and frames for hard resin crowns.

• It can be cast at the moment ingots have melted attributed to excellent fluidity .

• Removal of oxide layers formed during castings is not necessary for the metal oxides that are formed are lighter in density and remain behind during centrifugal casting .

Cera-lock Alloy (beryllium Free) For Pfm Bonding – Ceramic Alloy:

Modelling Wax / Sheet Wax / Base Plate Wax

Each Packet of 'MAARC' Modeling wax contains 12 sheets of wax weighing approx. 225 - 250 gms wrapped in non adhesive Silicone Paper to Facilitate easy removal.

Shades: It comes in various shades like Light Pink, Dark Pink, Red, Ivory, Normal Pink, etc.

Boxing Wax

• It is in the form of strips of 160 mm x 40mm x 2 - 3mm thick.

Properties & Advantages

• It is soft and tacky for boxing in impressions.

• Adheres easily to most of the surfaces.

Packing:

• It comes in the pack of 6 strips each measuring 160 mm x 40mm x 2 - 3mm thick appx. With each wrapped in silicon paper.

Inlay Wax Sticks:

The blue inlay wax also comes in stick form, there are 20 stick per box of blue inlay. It is used in colleges by students for easy its easy application.

 Pattern Wax / Inlay Onlay Pattern Wax

The basic classification from our side is being done based on hardness and stiffness & flow of waxes

Softer waxes with high flow are more flexible and are used as base; harder waxes are less flexible and stiff and are used as build up.

• Cervical Wax (Orange): Soft type with degree of fluidity that will allow it to flow and fit perfectly in cervical areas, high adaptation and stability to surfaces. It will wet model surface without shrinkage.

• Cervical Wax (Blue): Harder than Orange wax.

• Cervical Wax (Blue / Red / Ivory): Standard inlay wax wherein the Pattern comes out easily from the Plaster Surface.

• Undercut wax (Green): Harder than Red wax used where hard Pattern waxes are preferred.

• Undercut Wax (Violet): Harder than Green Wax - Used for Coping of Patterns to add mechanical strength and as undercut wax.

• Sculpturing  Wax (Coffee): Used for Undercuts and adding Mechanical Stability to Wax Patterns of jacket Crowns.

• Carving  wax (Magenta): Hard Inlay wax. With medium flow for built up

• Presentation Ivory Inlay wax: A white, enamel-like wax used to makes a more aesthetic case presentation (wax-up). Easy carving properties. Also aids in the fabrication of temporaries.

Properties & Advantages

• The wax does not withdraw on Solidifying, i.e. it does not lift off the edges while solidifying

• Has Got Good Flowing and Carving Properties.

• The softer waxes are flexible enough to form base of wax patterns

• The harder waxes add strength to the wax patterns and are used for build up.

• The harder waxes are stiff enough for using as undercut waxes and margin waxes where less thickness of wax and high strength for the given thickness is required.(Low Shrinkage of the wax)

Packing :

• The Wax comes in Plastic box Packing of 100/200 gms Packing.

• It melts when heated and adheres to the surface onto which it is applied
• It holds the components prior to fixation and gives a clean burnout.

• In gold-plated or plain versions.
• Even if breaks or splits occur in the acrylic the denture stays in position.
• Improves considerably strength of acrylic denture.
