The paint is ceramic based. It has a non-sticking property, therefore any liquid metal do not stick to the surface of any metallic surface, tools, crucibles, refractory bricks and lining. The paint can be modified to make high heat resistant to be used in furnace and hot metal ladles, used in high temperature zones as this paint has heat resistant property of about 1600 deg. C.

This paint is mostly used in Steel Plants where molten metal and slag sticking is a maintenance hazard.

It is exclusively made to be used in zinc environment like sink roll, stabiliser rolls, arms, pot, refractory lining below the pot and other structural parts dipped in liquid zinc. Coverage is 6 – 7 sq. ft. per kg. of paint, it is a ready to use paint and if required water can be added to dilute.
It is inert, non toxic and non hazardous. This paint can also be used as Acid Proof Paint in pickling lines.

A Process by which high purity Zinc can be recovered from Galvinised dross.The Galvanising dross from the CGL department is normally sold out at about 70% value of zinc in the form of ingots.

The process invlolves either the dross to be treated online in the galvinising pot to recover zinc and reduce dross or the dross ingots seperately in a furnace (mostly alloy making furnace which is available in CGL Plants for making Zinc-aluminium allys) and our developed flux is to be added in a particular sequence to recover High grade Zinc. The molten Zinc is tapped out in moulds and can be recycled back to the galvanising pot or can be directly sold out to structural or pipe galvanisers.
