Shiv Om Woolen Mills stand for the creation, time, quality, faith and has a passion and pursuit for excellence. It was in corporate in 1984 by Mr. Rakesh Kapoor, with an experience of over 35 years in textile industry. By 1988, a demand for textile products soon saw Shiv Om Woolen Mills developing its range to meet that demand.
It launched its first range of pure Cashmere and Woolen shawls combining the vivid colors of India to produce vibrant blankets, scarves, shawls in high quality and quantity. The range grew with the demand and soon Shiv Om Woolen Mills became vendors for various export houses in India. It is committed to fulfil its clients requirement before deadline, without any effect on the quality of the order.
With rising costs, Shiv Om Woolen Mills took a drastic step to cut down middlemen costs, by dealing directly with the importers. Mr. Rakesh Kapoor diversified his business by opening another firm, Shiv Om Trading Corporation in 1991 trading in Nylon, Metallic, Polyester and various other industrial yarns and continuing its monopoly for a long time.
Shiv Om Woolen Mills is equipped with latest manufacturing technology and information about changing moods, and can manufacture whole range of materials according to the domestic and International Customers. Headed by a qualified textile product developer assisted by a design team with complete knowledge of textiles.
