Raw Material-
A Natural Product Selected With Care and Imported with expertise Approximately 70 percent of the cost of the wooden pallet is in its raw material simple , natural timber.
SSTI pallets actively researches and monitors the supply chain to ensure that its timber comes from the best possible sources. As well as competitively priced, the wood must be processed by high-class sawmills, producing an accurately sawn, quality product.
Timber is a renewable resource and should therefore originate from countries where trees are replanted at the rate of which exceeds that of felling. Usually, the governments of such countries operate stringent checks on forest management systems and impose penalties on those companies or individuals who do not comply.
It is a little known fact that, in one year a tree absorbs 9.1 Kg of carbon dioxide and at the same time, emits enough oxygen to sustain a family of four for one year. This basic comparison illustrates why SSTI pallets puts so much emphasis on getting suppliers to take environmental issues seriously.
