The major characteristic of our range is that their thermal stability is several times more than Dimethyl Silicone Fluids. Therefore, these products are highly suitable for high temperature applications. We recommend grades of MP 1 and MP 2 for such severe application requirements.
Our range contains greater lubricating properties in compared to Dimethyl Silicone Fluids. Moreover, these products have better compatibility with metallic soaps and various other additives that are used for formulation of lubricants and greases designed for very high or low temperature applications.
These products are highly soluble in a wider range of organic solvents. Moreover, our range can be used for alphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and their halogen derivatives, alcohols, linear and cyclic ether, keytones, esters such as amyl alcohol, acetone, butyl alcohol and benzene. In addition to this, our products find application in chloroform, carbon tetrachloride, cyclohexene, dioxane, diethyl ether, dimethyl foramide, toluene, tri-chloroethylene and xylene. These products are soluble in aqueous alcohols and capable of expending the area of application that was limited due to poor solubility of normal silicone fluids
The compressibility property of our range is lower in compared to dimethyl silicone fluids. This facilitates these products to be used in high temperature hydraulic transmission and in applications, where shear forces are extremely high.
These products are insoluble in various substances like concentrated mineral acids, free halogens, anhydrous, homogenates, hydrocarbons and super heated steam. Highly resistant to water, these products are suitable to be used in plastics and other metals.

How To Use
Amount is effective in very low concentrations:
- For any new industrial application, the user may start with a concentration of 20 gms per ton, then increase or decrease this concentration until most economical use level, is established.
Direct Application As Supplied
- In some applications, it may be wiped on process equipment to limit foaming level. In bottle filling machine, it is applied to the nozzles to knock down foam as it rises in the neck of the bottle, Similarly, a wiped on a application on the rim of processing vats prevents foam overflows. It may be wiped on a screen which is then suspended over the surface of the foamer. Whenever the foam rises too high, it contacts the screen and is broken.

|Method of Applications. |
|Before applying SHM MR 30/ SHM MR 35 the mould should be completely wetted which assures a continues, stable parting film and helps minimize cost per mouldings, Thus it eliminates sticking in extruders, moulds, calendars and other equipment throughout the rubber processing operation. The technique for applying SHM MR 30/ SM / HM Mr 35 varies because of difference in production equipments. SHM MR 30/ SHM MR 35 may be sprayed automatically of applied manually by swabbing, wiping, dipping or hand spraying. ||

|SHM L 17 is a versatile silicone release agent. Having the consistency of petroleum jelly. It Is used in the rubber, plastics, plywood, and metal fabricating industries. |
It gives a long lasting, easy release and dose not break down to form a carbonaceous build-up. It keeps moulds and patterns cleaner, reduces maintenance, minimizes scrap, and improves the appearance of molded parts.
SHM L 17 is inert to metals, plastics, and most organic materials. As supplied, LVG COMPOUND can be wiped on moulds or platens or dispersed in certain solvents and applied by spraying, swabbing, or perchloroethylene, and methyl ethyl ketone.
SHM L 17 is insoluble in water, methyl or ethyl alcohol, glycerol, or mineral oil.

|SHM L 17 is used as a mould release agent for difficult release jobs. It is an excellent lubricant and preservative for rubber. Wiped with this grease-like silicone, tight-fitting rubber parts slide into place quickly and easily. |

Method of application vary. In some cases, SHM L 17 is simply rubber on the mould surface. In applications involving complex moulds, LVG COMPOUND is dispersed in –vents and sprayed on the mould surface. Methods of application, concentrations, and frequency of application are best determined by actual trials. Where such dispersion is desired, a 5% concentration of LVG in solvent is suggested.
