We are engaged in offering HT automatic voltage stabilizers that are nothing but auto wound transformers with helical coils on a conventional laminated core. The carbon rollers in the stabilizer are assembled on a fiber glass carrier board to traverse the length of the coil track. Electrically connected to the output terminals, these rollers when driven over the back provide a variable voltage. Further, it also has compensating winding that is connected in parallel and is short circuited to minimize the effect of core-flux ‘fringing’ beneath the regulating coil. As a result of this, reactance of the regulator remains fairly constant at any position of the rolling contact.

Operation:

• The solid state relay sensed a variation of more than ± 1% of the rated output voltage of the stabilizers and then sends signals to the controlling servo motor
• This drives the roller mechanism in a direction that increase or decrease the voltage and stabilize it to the rated output voltage
• Solid State Relay operates on 230 V, 1Ø supply

These stabilizers are used to attain stable input voltage for individual distribution transformer, no matter whether high or low voltage is received from the electricity authority. Installed on the input side of the transformers, it prevents the transformer from getting overloaded.
