LIMITING FACTORS

• Not suitable for sticky product
• Not suitable for wet product with high bulk density.

OPERATIONAL PRINCIPLE

• The atmospheric air is taken through micron filter by Induced Draft Fan. The clean air is heated either by Electric Heater/Steam Radiator. The hot air passes through product & product dries faster by air fluidisation. The circulation of air is controlled by damper. The filter bags prevent fine particles from escaping into atmosphere

Belt Dryer:

Salient features:

• Continuous plant operation

• Continuous circulation horizontal conveying dryer

• Belts of SS 316 / Nylon / cotton

• Dryer in divided zones, drying temp. In each zone can be adjuste paste / wet crystal feed

• Uniform drying/adjustable belt speed.

 

 

The main dryer body is placed inside the production room and is fabricated out of SS 304 material from outside and SS 316 material from inside. The dryer body is designed to accommodate no. of trays in one Trolley. The Dryer body is insulated from five sides to prevent heat loss. The Dryer has one door and is interlocked with the blower motor.

 

The control panel made of MS with epoxy coated is placed on the service floor. The operating panel is made in SS body and is placed in the production area. The operating panel is consisting PID controller, push button for Blower motor start / stop and selector switch for heating ON / OFF.

 

The design of Tray Dryer will be based on technical specifications derived from User Requirement Specification, C-GMP requirements, performance requirements and control logics as approved by the client in the Design Qualification.
