Available with a melting point between 131oC to 135oC, the acidity or alkalinity and related substances should comply as per BP. The loss on drying is not more than 0.5% and sulphated ash is not more than 0.1%. the assay (on dried basis) is between 98% to 101%. Freely soluble in ethanol (95%) and in chloroform as well as soluble in water and practically insoluble in ether, our product complies with related Substances by TLC and sulphated ash is not more than 0.1 %. Our product assay is not less than 99 % and not more than 101 % on dried basis. The molecular formula of Dicyclomine Hydrochloride IP/BP is C19H36ClNO2 and molecular Weight is 345.94.
