Established in mid-1989 and located at Ahmedabad, the Company commenced manufacture of quality medical disposable devices for single use only. Shree Umiya’s Quality Team conducts monitoring, in-house inspection and testing as a Total Quality Management measure, making it mandatory for all individuals responsible for the quality of their work. These procedures that enable TQM are continuous—aimed at zero failure and defect-free performance, leading to superior products.

In the pursuit of quality, SUSPL have successfully implemented Quality Management System satisfying Quality System Standard ISO 9001-2000 and CE, European Council Directive 93/42/EEC of l4th June, 1993 concerning MEDICAL DEVICES, as a guide to its quality assurance activity.

The Company also passed muster through an independent audit by Det Norske Veritas Certification AS, Veritasveien l, 1322, Hovik, Norvey [DNV]. notified body No.0434 one of the prestigious and respected institutes for certification. The system is fool-proof in that it predicts potential deviation from the specifications, thus arresting lapses or shortcomings that could inhibit the aim towards quality.

Shree Umiya’s automated plant and modern machinery is ever on hand to manufacture moulding extrusion of precision components and tubings to close tolerance such as the Company’s in-house—

Injection moulding, process development, process validation, welding,
assembling, packaging and sterilization technology.

All operations are monitored carefully through implementing the Quality Assurance System.

Shree Umiya Surgical established a comprehensive Marketing and Sales infrastructure, a wide network of distributors and dealers covering the entire country who work hand in hand with the sales force to manage various marketing & sales functions.
