The complete system shall be in carbon steel or stainless steel fabrication from plates. The wet sugar end of drum shall have an anti-spill lip 200 mm deep at an angle of 120deg. to the drier length. The air discharge shall be taken from the bottom of the drier head box. The discharge end of the drum shall be fitted with a 316 S.S. circumferential 10 mm mesh screen 500 mm in length to separate the crystals from any lumps.

There shall be helical baffles fitted to the 500 mm of the drum length. There shall be adequate baffles each of suitable height and covering 120 deg. of the drum circumference fitted to lead the Sugar in forward motion.

The drive shall comprise of an electric motor of suitable directly coupled to a gear reducer and a chain final drive. The drier drum shall be supported by two support rings, running on two sets of trunions. The support rings shall be machined surface. One of the support rings shall run against a thrust roller which shall absorb all the axial loads on the drum. The trunions shall comprise of two steel tyres with plummer block arrangement supported on a base frame. Each trunion bearing shall be provided with individual grease points. The trunion and drive system shall be directly mounted on the civil foundations

Instrumentation and control system will be provided to control the hot air flow and it's temperature. Similarly wet scrubbing system attached with the unit will be automatically controlled.

Sugarcane loader is a hydraulically operated mechanized solution for sugarcane loading. The loader is mounted on a tractor and is capable of loading sugarcane up to 5 meters height in the transport vehicle.

To assist the campaign by sugar mills in India for reduction of sugar loss in molasses through maximization of exhaustion of the mother liquor of the low grade strikes in Crystallizers, Shrijee developed the Vertical Continuous Cooling Crystallizer in 1980 to enable regulated cooling of the Massecuite in a continuous and positive flow. 150 installations made in India and abroad have proved the expectations by realization of space and power economies, high purity drops of 6 units and maintenance and trouble free operation over the production campaign.
