Historical background of SKPI unfolds the journey of more than two decades when in 1985 Mr. B.S. Mukim (BA, LLB, CA) earlier a cloth merchant diversified into real estates and further to constructions business established with Mr. Sanjay Mukim the present organisation SKPI, Shri Krishna Polyurethane Ind. (P) Ltd. Since its inception SKPI has created a niche in the polyurethane market in India. Mr. Sanjay Mukim got his training on polyurethane manufacturing in Italy in the year 1985 with ARA SRL Inc. Italy. He till 1988 was involved in all the activities of the company. In the year 1988 UNDP welcomed Mr. Sanjay Mukim for representing UNDP in India for phasing out of CFC, HCFC, HFC gases from industries and industrial applications. Presently he represents UNDP and UNOP in India.
Time kept rolling SKPI was busy in setting milestones of achievements one after another. Then in 1993 Mr. Deepak Mukim (B.com) started taking active part in the company matters. His fabric export experience became an extra asset to the organization. That year the organisation, initially engaged in the production of molded PU furniture later diversified into PU armrests took the next step of diversification. Here, Mr. Deepak Mukim played a crucial role in the organisation and the company moved a step ahead and started manufacturing flexible foam as well.
Today, vast range of Polyurethane moulds from SKPI viz. PU Foams for seats applications, variety of PU Foams and other applications PU grab handles and Arms Rests and a long list that includes number of products are true solutions for Office Furniture, Auditorium Chairs, Home Furniture, Banquette Furnishings and Automobile Industry.
