The small, dark, unripe fruit of the pepper plant (Piper nigrum), used whole or ground as a pungent spice. Black pepper powder is made from mature, dried and clean berries of the plant Piper Nigrum. The product is black-grey in colour with a hot pungent biting taste and sharp penetrating aroma.

The ground coriander or cilantro powder is obtained from the Coriander seed of the coriander plant. Its leaves are also used widely in many culinary cultures.

Among one of the first spices used by mankind, Coriander seeds, is the seed of Coriandrum sativum, which belongs to the parsley family. The coriander seeds are almost round in shape and brown to yellowish red in color.

Cumin seeds are the seeds of Cuminum cyminum, which belongs to the parsley family. It is pale green in color and elliptical in shape with deep furrows.

Dill is the dried fruit of the herb Anethum graveolens, which belongs to the parsley family. Dill seeds are oval-shaped, soft and fluffy and has a pungent and aromatic flavor.

Fennel seeds are the dried fruit of Foeniculum vulgare, which belongs to the parsley family. It is oval in shape and green or yellowish brown in color. It has a slightly sweet flavour. Obtained from this aromatic and medicinal plant, the seeds emit a pleasant odor, are highly aromatic and have a pungent flavor.

Fenugreek seeds are a dried, ripe seed of the herb Trigonella foenum - graecum. It is brownish-yellow in color and is one of the oldest cultivated medicinal plants.

During the split manufacturing process, husk & germ are obtained which are used as a cattle feed as they are rich in protein. It is widely sold in the international market as Guar Meal and has contents of Oil & Albuminoids. These contents are about 50% in germ whereas it is about 25% in husks. Red chili powder is derived from ground, dry-roasted whole red chilies. They are used liberally in almost every spicy Indian dish. Sesame Seed is the seed of Sesamum indicum. It is yellowish, whitish or black in colour and has a nut-like, mild flavor. Four types of Sesame Seeds are available - Natural, Hulled, Black and White. The black sesame seed loses its natural richness and flavor while losing its skin. Hulled sesame seeds enrich bakery and confectionery products and make a base for creamy sweet paste. The natural sesame seeds is extensively used in bakery products such as breadsticks, bread, candies and cookies, and as a garnish item on pasta and vegetables.

Turmeric Powder is made from dried Turmeric which is the dried root of Curcuma Longa. It has a tough brown skin and bright orange flesh.

Curry powder is the exquisite blend of many spices. It is widely used in the Indian cuisine as well as in dishes of Southeast Asia. It can be used as a condiment in dips, marinades and salads.

An important spice or condiment; also the plant from which it is obtained, Zingiber officinale, of the ginger family. They are dried to preserve them for transport and storage. The dry ginger is passed through a pulverizer and ground to 40 mesh size to obtain ginger powder.

Tamarind is Leguminous tree, Tamarindus indica, with pods containing seeds embedded in brown pulp, eaten fresh, used to prepare beverages and seasonings in oriental cuisine.
