Fire Survival Cables
We offer Fire Survival Cables (FRLS Cables) which are used in various industries. The specification for which is as follows:
Flame Retardant Heat Resistant Upto 105°C Single Core Unsheated Copper Cables For Working Voltage up to 1100 Volts
Referance Standards:
National : BS 6004, BS 6500, DIN VDE 0281-3 International : IS 694, IEC 227
Conductor: Bright annealed bare copper of high electrolytic grade drawn to fine strands, multi strands bunched together rope shaped wire for uniformity of conductor dia, resistance, dimensions and flexibility etc. The diameter of the conductor is so uniform that strands do not get cut when stripping the insulation thus conductor gives perfect conductivity which eliminates spot heating and sparking.
Insulation: Specially formulated grade of PVC compound is capable of withstanding higher conductor temperatures with flame retardant properties. A rating of 105?C with FR properties enables the cable to withstand overloads without compromising safety. The insulation is resistant to boiling water, steam and vapours to prevent aging and cracking in practical usage in kitchens, bathrooms, damp walls, chemical industries etc.
Marking: The Cable are printed with generic marking F 10 - FRHR
Color : Skin colouring in various colour like Red, Yellow, Blue, Black, Green

Our RF cable family, RFA, has been designed to meet the highest technical standards. Enhanced electrical values, uniform impedance and low attenuation at high frequencies make RFA an optimal choice for all applications including UMTS and WiMAX. Our RFA cables are compatible with standard connectors and accessories.
We offer various RFA cable types: 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 7/8", 1 1/4", 1 1/5", 2 1/4"
The unique two layer jacketing with harder HDPE surface and softer LDPE inside gives the RFA cables best protection in all installation environments without losing flexibility. In Draka feeder cables, the foam dielectric has an extremely high degree of expansion and a special skin layer for extra protection.
We manufactture a wide range of rubber cables. Silicon rubber insulated cables are used in electric utilities such as the generation and transmission of electricity. Long service life under normal environment in Nuclear and conventionally powered generating stations plus safety considerations are the significant factors of these electric appliances. When exposed to fire, Silicon offers circuit integrity, low smoke evolution, and freedom from halogen acids. (For e.g. Boilers, Electric Furnaces, Cokd Ovens, Driers, Bakeries, Blast Furnaces & High Furnace Generator)
F-10 offers a complete range of Silicon Rubber insulated wires & cables from 0.25 sq. mm to 240 sq. mm, Silicon rubber insulated wires are used where ever ambient temperature is very high upto 220°C combined with high dielectric breakdown when compared to ordinary PVC / Rubber insulation. ‘F-10’ Silicon insulated wires are made as per IS 9968 part 1 & 2, which specifies working voltage of 1100V, however special insulation thickness wires are also available with construction as per customer requirement. We also offer multicore Silicon insulated cables with various choices of outer sheath coatings as per customer requirements. For temperature - more than 220°C, we offer silicon insulated conductor single & multicore with overall coating of Silicon rubber, this gives greater flexibility to the final cable while maintaining high temperature.
EPR/PCP & VIR Insulated & TRS Sheathed Cables
F-10 offers a complete range of EPR/PCP/TRS Sheathed elastrometric trailing round flexible cables, which are heat resistant, oil resistant & flame retardant wires & cables from 0.25 sq. mm to 240 sq. mm Single & Multi Core Cables Upto 1100 Volts CONF:IS 9968 Part 1 (1988).

We offer single and multicore round shielded cables used in various industries. We ensure excellent quality audio and video transmissions with the use of our superlative Shielded Cables. Our shielded Cables facilitate signal integrity and maintain picture as well as sound clarity. Our range of Shield Cables is available in various Types such as :
Braid Shield
Foil Shield
Lapp Spiral Shield
Combination Shield
Our shield maintains high braid coverage, which makes it effective for audio and RF ranges. We have stocked a wide range of cables in various and packages. As the result, we are able to meet the immediate requirements of clients.
Braid Shield : Braid shield consists of groups of tinned or bare or silver plated copper or aluminium strands, one set woven in a clockwise direction and interwoven with another set in a counter clockwise direction. Braid shields provide superior structural integrity, while maintaining good flexibility and flex life. These shields are ideal for minimizing low frequency interference and have lower DC resistance than foil. Braid shields are effective at audio, as well as RF ranges. Generally, the higher the braid coverage, the more effective the shield. However, the trade-off between cost and braid coverage must be considered. Typical braid coverage are between 80% and 95%. Coverage of 100% is unattainable with a braid shield.
Foil Shield : Foil Shield consists of Aluminium Foil laminated to a polyester or Polypropylene film. The Film gives the shield mechanical strength and bonus insulation. Foil shield provides 100% cable coverage, necessary for electrostatic shield protection. Because of their small size, foil shields are commonly used to shield individual pairs of multipair data cables to reduce crosstalk. Drain wires are used with foil shield to make termination easier and to ground electrostatic discharges. The shortcoming in using the foil shield include higher DC resistance and lower mechanical strength than braid or spiral shield.
Lapp Spiral Shield : A spiral shield consists of wire usually copper wrapped in a spiral around the inner cable core. Superior flexibility and flex life, ease of termination and upto 97% coverage are the advantage of spiral shields. They are best suited for audio applications. As a rule spiral shields are not suitable above the audio frequency range due to coil effect produced by the inductance of the spiral wire strands. Combination Shields : These consisit of more than one layer of shielding. They provide maximum shield efficiency across the frequency spectrum. The combination foil/Braid shield combines the advantage of 100% foil coverage plus the strength and low DC resistance of the braid. Most of our shielded cables are available ex-stock in a wide variety of colours and packages. Many of these are available off the shelf from our distributors.
