A child with learning disability suffers not only from the trauma of his disability but his attitude resonates with exasperation and frustration over his incompetence which is misread as being disobedient and unruly. At Shristi Learning Centers we tackle this through psychological means.

School consultancy:
The child’s maximum learning time happens in school and the teacher and principal must understand to child’s deficit. We send our experts to sensitize the teachers and guide them on how to go about the process of remediation.

Going through the prospect of disability for years is a trying job for the child and the family and in due course of time this requires supportive counseling. Through this the parents and the child are made to come to a harmony with the problem, deal with their issues and be on ease with their surroundings.

A child who is susceptible to LD shows some preluding signs which parents and family members might come across as trivial or not of much significance but detection at an early stage helps a lot in controlling the magnitude of disability

In the process of diagnosis one of the major factors is IQ of the child. According to the international consensus and standards the IQ is one of the bases in determining the severity of Learning Disability. Amongst the first things we take up during the assessment process is IQ testing.

We encourage the children to go through their education in regular schools and giving boards through them only. But in case a child is not able to fulfill the standards required to clear the exams we help him go mainstream by giving boards through NIOS.

Phonological awareness is one in which listeners are able to hear, identify and manipulate phonemes, the smallest units of sound that can differentiate meaning. This improves children's word reading and reading comprehension, as well as helping children learn to spell.

Merely training a child according to class curriculum might do well to him in a particular standard but in the long run it is not a sublime remedy.
