We source Ductile Iron (DI) Spun pipes for water conveyance with linings/coatings conforming to International Standards In order to transport sufficient quantities of water from different sources i.e. rivers, lakes or wells, to a treatment plant with minimal loss and then transport the treated water to the end user, a reliable pipe material is required that is strong, long lasting, corrosion resistant and reduces the risk of contamination. Ductile Iron pipes possess these qualities and are currently the single most widely used type of pipe for the transportation of water & sewage.

Packing:

Bundled Pipes
Our vendors follow the practice of bundling ductile Iron pipes up to 400mm dia to facilitate loading, unloading and handling. Each bundle has two number- base wood placed parallel to each other. Separator wood is provided between two rows/layers of pipes to provide stability to Bundle.

The pipes are bundled such that the successive pipes have sockets in opposite direction, viewed vertically or horizontally. The pipes are strapped with adequate number of steel straps to ensure that the straps do not snap even during multiple handling.

Loose Pipes

Pipe sizes above 400mm dia are shipped in loose condition. These pipes require careful handling to avoid damages.
