 | | Other Products Used in the foundry as a binder for cores, the yellow dextrin offered by us helps in increasing dry strength. This product also find its application as a binder for mould and core washes. A partially hydrolyzed starch, its is made by dry roasting in the presence of a catalyst. Soluble in cold water, this product is highly converted of the treated starches. These yellow dextrin has low viscosity and the solution is very sticky. |
British Gum Swastik Brand British Gum most suitable for fire works and adhesives. British Gum for fire works is a converted starch, which has excellent adhesive properties and easily replaces Gum powder in making of SUTLI BUMB and other fire works.
Swastik Brand British Gum gives better Adhesives and shines with fast drying property.

Corrugation Gum (Alkaline) Swastik Brand Corrugation Gum is a fine, dry, white or off white powder and is prepared from the best quality starch for corrugating industry. Swastik corrugation gum is partially hydrolyzed Starches that are prepared by roasting in the presence of different catalysts. The process reduces the large molecule size in to small molecule with maintained viscosity
Advantage:
- Excellent adhesive properties
- High strength film properties
- Superior bond due to higher solids
- Stable viscosity to avoid uneven pick-up of the gum solution
- Improves stress and strain tolerance of finished corrugated boxes
- Has low gelatinization temperature thus minimizing the power consumption giving higher machine speed which ultimately results into greater production yield
Typical Analysis
| Description | White or off white powder | | Particle size | 80% pass through 80 mesh | | Moisture Content (% by weight) | 10% max. | | Viscosity (measured in B4 cup) | 35 to 45 seconds | | PH | 11 to 12 |
Method of preparation:
Swatik corrugation gum is composed in such a manner that it is easiest to prepare and use. No special skills or costly machinery required. First fill the required water in drum and start stirrer and simultaneously pour the Swastik Corrugation Gum powder gradually to avoid lump formation. Now stir well for 30 minutes, the mixture will be uniformly viscous. The mixture is ready to use.
Note:
Take care that the Swastik corrugation / solution should never be mixed with pasting gum powder/ solution and vice versa.
While preparing the gum solution, add gum powder to water and not water to gum powder to avoid lump formation. | |
