Welcome to Hidden Valley Tour covering
the interiors of Sikkim/Darjeeling/Kalimpong. This is an eight day
long program. Our tariff for this service is USD 960/person, which
includes all transfers and sightseeing in deluxe jeeps, English
speaking guide/escort, accommodation in twin sharing with all meals
except for day 08, all entrance fees and Sikkim permit. We however
donot include items of personal nature like laundry, alcohol, tips,

For all foreigners, you get your first
taste of India in this tour on arrival to Calcutta. Your Himalayan
journey begins the next day from Darjeeling. You get to see the
beautiful tea gardens, Yiga Choeling monastery, which enshrines an
image of the future Buddha – Maitreya, the Himalayan mountaineering
Institute, the Zoological park and the Tibetan Refugee Self help
center. On the 4^th day, you with our guides continue your
journey to the erstwhile kingdom of Sikkim. We cover all local
sights of Gangtok, which will include a visit to the local Enchey
monastery, Tibetology museum, Handicraft centre, Ganesh Tok, the
Rumtek monastery. On the 6^th day, you reach Kalimpong,
which is a small town that was once a thriving trading post between
Tibet and India. It was also the starting point of the first Everest
expedition. You get to see the important tourist destinations at
Kalimpong, like the Zangdopalri monastery, the Gomchen monastery etc.

This tour provides you with an unique

Starting your journey from Bagdogra,
you drive to Gangtok and enter the Sikkim border ( altitude 1256 ft
). On the way you get to see the beautiful Teesta river, sunrise view
of Kanchendzonga, visit the local market and tour the local sights.
Places of interest include Enchey monastery. Passing through
terraced farmlands, lush valleys of cardamom and small pockets of
village houses belonging to the lepchas and bhutias, you get a unique
chance to see the beautiful sights of Sikkim. If time permits, the
tour also covers the Phodong and Labrang monasteries. On day 5^th, you start trekking towards Zemu, where the Zemu river merges
with the Thangu river. Prepare yourself for long and beautiful day as
you cross boulders and pebbles on your trail and enter the moraine
field of the Zemu Glacier. You reach a height of about 15,550 ft and
get to see Mt. Siniolchu which is considered to be one of the most
beautiful peak in the world. Another important sight you see during
the trekking is the “Green lake”. Green Lake is a take off point
for mountaineering expeditions to the peaks of the area. On day 08,
you return to Yabuk and trek down to reach Gangtok on day 10.
