Polycarbonate Sheet for High Impact Resistance

Available in sizes of 2000 x 3000 in ‘mm’ with thickness ranging from 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9.5 and 12 in ‘mm’ and the sheets are non-formable and formable. The sheet offers an excellent optical clarity with transparency comparable with glass; it is very light in weight; it provides an extremely high level of safety & security and it has high resistance to abrasion and UV rays. Its impact resistance complies with DIN standard and does not vary significantly at temperature between _40˚C and + 120˚C. It’s the only glazing material backed by 5 years warranty* against yellowing and loss of light transmission and 10 years warranty* against breakage. This sheet can be applied in railway coaches & locomotive glazing; in vehicle glazing like forklift trucks to forestry tractors, for industrial application as machine-guard, for Defence & Police Force as riot protecting shields; in safety helmets & armored vehicles, at banks for cash counters, ATM Centers and cash wagons and glazing in shops, public buildings, schools, bus shelters and other high traffic areas.

Multiwall Polycarbonate Glazing Sheet

Multiwall Polycarbonate Sheet is extruded from Lexan® resin giving them a combination of features that most other plastics can only dream of. These Sheets are available under three categories: a) Thermo clear – (available sizes-1250x11800,  2100x11800 in ‘mm’ and thickness ranges -6.0, 8.0, 10.0, 16.0, 20.0 & 25.0 in ‘mm’), (b) Thermo clear- Solar Control – (available sizes – 980x6000 & 1250x6000 in ‘mm’ and thickness ranges- 10.0, 16.0, 20.0 & 32.0 in ‘mm’) and c) Thermo panel – ( sizes available- 980x6000mm and thickness range- 30.0mm). All are tailored sizes. These sheets are available in a variety of profiles, surface textures and shades. It is also combined with Unbelievable Strength, Excellent Clarity and High Flexibility along with other inherent properties making it a favorite for numerous glazing, roofing and protection applications over the past decades. The sheet offers greater protection against breakage & damaging effects of UV rays in comparison  with other materials like glass and acrylic and is rated for energy absorption of upto 40Nm over a wide temperature range ( _40˚C to +100˚C), the light transmission is from 40% to 90% making it perfect for Skylight / Canopy applications. Despite being virtually unbreakable, it is extremely light in weight. It is also self-extinguishing and does not propagate fire. These sheets have been given the highest rating for any thermoplastic glazing material by various regulatory bodies world over. The colors available are in Clear, Bronze, Blue and Green and the structures are in 6/2RS, 8/2RS, 102RS & 16/3X –Structures. These sheets can be applied to Industrial Roofing, Shopping Centre Roofing, Railway/ Metro Station, Football Stadium Roofing etc.

Corrugated Polycarbonate Sheet

Corrugated Polycarbonate Sheet is transparent profiled glazing sheets which is the product of choice for cost effective, high transmitting, durable and attractive glazing in all private mansions and garages to commercial greenhouses, roof lights and industrial buildings. Available sizes- 1260x2440, 1260x3050, 1260x3660 & 1260x6100 in ‘mm’, thickness ranging-0.8,1.00, & 1.20 in ‘mm’ with Sinus or Greca structure and the colors available are Clear, Bronze and Opaque Grey. The sheet offers high impact resistance at least 5 times that of FRP, 20 times of fiber glass and 40 times over glass or acrylic; it minimizes the damaging effects of UV radiation with protective integral layer and light transmittance remains at 90% even through accelerated Q.U.V tests.

Lexan® is a family of thin gauge extruded products offering an optimum combination of properties. They are ideal for screen or offset printing-bringing important benefits to a wide range of graphics applications. They are also suitable for use in other application such as lighting, packaging insulation and ‘smart cards’.

 

Due to its special feature of clarity, it is ideal for LED/ LCD display windows and allows second-surface printing to give graphics an outstanding durability with true color reproduction. It is an easy substrate to screen print, giving excellent ink adhesion without pre-treatment which offers broad scope for graphics including intricate designs. Standard grades are available especially for use with conventional solvent based inks as well as UV and infrared curing inks. The dimensional stability of Lexan films allows close tolerance printing registration after repeated heating and drying, as well as permitting close proximity to illumination sources and other heat emitting compounds. Most Lexan film grades have a rating of UL94-V2 AT 375 microns and above. They have a wide range of surface finishes which falls into three broad categories: Polished Films, Textured Films and High Performance Films which allows a high degree of design freedom with options including anti-reflective and scratch resistance textures. The films are suitable for a broad range of applications including automotive dials, audio/video remote control fascias, label for industrial equipment (Textured grades). Control panels for HVAC and office equipments, flat membrane switches, anti-reflective computer screens, display windows for audio/video equipment, washing machines and microwave ovens, warning labels for garden equipment, signage and marine graphics- chemical abrasion and UV resistance grades (High performance grades); for LCD/LED display windows when second surface printing is desired such as panels for house hold appliances, audio/video equipment and automotive dials.

 

These films are available in custom colors, subject to minimum order quantity. Lexan Films with both surfaces polished can be embossed or selectively textured for aesthetic purposes. Standard grades are available specifically for use with conventional solvent based inks as well as UV curing inks. The thicknesses are: .125mm, .175mm, 250mm, 0.375mm, .500mm and 1.000mm. Widths are in .915mm or 1220mm which comes in rolls and length depends on the thickness of the rolls.
