1. Unique model with pressurized utility water through Copper Coil.
2. Suitable for operation at 6 Bar
3. Can be combined together in series and parallel to provide larger capacity systems as prefeed to Main Heating System in Commercial and Process Industry.
4. Due to the fact that a large volume of water is in the outside tank at low temperature vis a vis a small volume of utility water inside the copper coil , the initial availability of hot water in small quantity is very quick. However total energy equivalent for a sunny day remains 12000 to 13500kcals.
5. Outer Storage Tank accommodates 300lts of RO Water as heating medium. Even moderately harsh waters can be used as heating medium.
6. Outer tank is insulated with PU foam and constructed out of SS304 and equipped with an electrical element of 1.5kw.
7. System can be used to provide Gravity feed and pressurrised feed water simultaneously.
8. Advantages of making pressure water flow through copper pipes vis a vis water flow through larger tanks made out of SS304.
à Copper pipe is seamless and therefore has longer life. Tanks made out of welded SS304 for use with hot water at pressure will have much lesser life and is subjected to leakages due to welds etc.
à Copper is a better conductor and therefore provides faster heat transfer.
à Suitable with harsh waters as the utility water is inside the copper coil.
Flat Plate Collectors (FPC) and interconnectivity.
1. Flat Plate Collectors comprises 9 fins of 0.15mm thickness. Majority manufacturers use fins of less than 0.10mm which have reduced efficiency when compared to thicker fins of 0.15mm.
2. Frame: We use 2mm thick frame which is duly Welded unlike other manufacturer who use 1.4 to 1.6mm thick frames and not even welded them and thus adding to dimensions in stability
3. Most FPC have flanged connector (2 on either side) as shown here. This is a sure temptation for installers to hold collectors from these points whilst handling during installation which occasionally results in leaks. Further, with flanged connections, the gaskets are used between the collectors which due to contraction and expansion also due to loosening of bolts results in dripping of hot water and therefore wastage of energy.
4. SILVERO FPC’s are without overhangs and have instead threaded end connections barely jutting out. Furthermore, these are interconnected and disconnected for services very quickly. These fittings are with brass nut assembly with copper pipe and washers.
