Environmental Policy
Being a paper manufacture, we understands our responsibilities towards society and environment. Hence, we operate through efficient equipments and technologies that are in conformation with the pertinent environmental norms. We don't cut trees to manufacture papers. Our effluent treatment plant meets the entire norms set by Pollution Control Boards.

Productivity Enhancement
• At Silverton Paper Limited, it is planned to increase the production capacity to 24000 tons per annum by April, 2008. and 50,000 tons per annum by July, 2009

• In addition, we are also planning to put a new co-generation plant of 6 MW along with the present 1.5 MW.

Technological Upgrading
In order to enhance our production, we are looking forward to

• Install twin wire for value addition
• Shift single layer kraft to double layer hi-BF liner kraft paper
• Install 2 presses of 1500 diameter with 300 kg load
• Install pressurized head boxes for better strength and properties like BF, tensile strength, etc.

We offer craft paper, packing paper, craft paper roll and colored craft paper. These paper products are made of agro-based raw materials. In addition, our entire production is machine base. The specifications in which our products are offered is given below:

Total Packing Solutions
We have a well-established and unified network of distributors that ensure prompt accessibility and delivery of our craft papers products in every corner of the country. Understanding the varied needs of the customers, we develop innovative products in both standard and customized specifications.

The main raw materials used in the production of craft paper at our production centre are:

• Baggasse
• Sarkanda
• Wheat straw
• Indian & Imported Waste paper

The selection of agro-based waste as raw materials is based on the concept of sustainable development of society as well as environment. The use of agro-residues help the farming community as well as it provides employment to those people who collect and transport of these materials.

Further, these materials are available in abundance in Muzaffarnagar. There are lot of sugar mills that provide baggasse and sarkanda at very cheap price.

Source of Raw Materials
• Baggasse – from more than 20 sugar mills of Muzaffarnagar area.
• Sarkanda - available in abundance on the banks of river Ganges and waste fields.
• Wheat straw – from farmers
• Waste paper - brought from nearby cities and Delhi

We have world class infrastructure set-up in Muzaffarnagar, UP, India, which can be reached in just few hours from New Delhi. Spread in 55000 square meter of area, the establishment is provided with requisite facilities to ensure prompt and effective processing of the business orders. Further, we have our own co-generation power plant to meet our electricity demand.

In our installed capacity, there are well-developed working departments such as production control, quality testing, product storing & packaging, product shipment, etc. This assists us to carry on our business functioning in organized manner. These capabilities also enable us to produce different types of craft paper products for general and specific requirements of our clients.

We provide different types of papers in individual packaging i.e. REELS and we outsource transportation facility from leading C&F agencies.

We maintain a pool of qualified and experienced professionals to look out for new opportunities in order to develop cost-effective craft parers through indigenous techniques. We continue to research and analyses market orientation and latest trends so that we can incorporate them into our production processes.

Our quality assurance and control starts with the procurement of raw materials, which lasts till the delivery of the end products. For this, we have a fully equipped laboratory having technically advance instruments. Samples of pulp or paper are taken from different manufacturing processes and checked on the requisite parameters. We check production processes at:
