We are the manufacturers of industrial tools and so we are involved in making those tools which are used in sugar mills, cement plants, match boxes plants and vibration check plants. The instruments we make are automotive shafts, gear shaft, stainless steel shaft, forged shaft, heavy industrial gear, engine gear shaft, conveyor component, industrial gear shaft, industrial conveyor component and industrial conveyor. We also do pressure vessel fabrication and storage tank fabrication.

A Gear Shaft is a toothed machine part, such as a wheel or cylinder, that meshes with another toothed part to transmit motion or to change speed or direction. Or in another words, its a transmission configuration for a specific ratio of engine to axle torque in a motor vehicle. There can be either single shafts, or direct drive shafts. Typically there are three types of shafts – input, output and counteract shafts. In some transmissions, it is possible for the output and input gear shafts to be locked together to create a 1 : 1 ratio.

At least we produce high quality low maintenance Gear Shafts which are good at long runs. With the low maintenance these are also cost effective. After putting them through various quality tests, these are then given out to the clients for practical use. These are made of corrosion resistant, premium quality raw material.

The Forged Shafts are the ones which have a twisted shape in the beginning. For this the premium carbon steel bars are heated to 1,200ºC. The red hot bars are placed into tooling dies and are forged by a 1.3 ton air stamp hammer. The head is trimmed under a 100 ton trimming die, then cooled and blasted to remove burrs. They are then reheated to 800ºC for a second forging under a .5 ton air stamp, cooled, and blasted again to remove the burrs. Each of the head is then stamped, polished , finished and plated. And then comes out the result – the forged shafts. We at SK produce one of the best quality shafts which are strong enough to gather the heat and dust of the roads. Steel and other alloys, rust proof, related to automobile, engineering, railways and various other industries are the ones which make use of Forged Shafts.



Automotive Shaft

Automotive parts are the driving shafts or the Drive Shaft. An automotive shaft is a mechanical device for transferring power from the engine or the motor to the point where useful work is applied. The Automotive shafts are used as most of the engines deliver power as torque through rotatory movement. This power is than extracted from the linear motion of pistons in the reciprocating engine or a forced gas. From the point of delivery, the components of power transmission form the drive train.

We in SK Engg produce high quality Automotive shafts which can be used in to the front wheels vehicles like motorcycle and cars. The drive shafts are used to transfer power of a car or a motorcycle. Our products are reliant in the sense that they pass through several Quality Assurance Tests before the end product is put in the market.

Some of the advantages of Automative shafts are the rider cannot become dirtied from chain grease or injured by the chain from "Chain bite", which occurs when clothing or even a body part catches between the chain and a sprocket; it has more consistent performance; it has low maintenance.

During manufacture of paper or other sheet products, the sheet material is typically wound onto, or unwound from, a tubular core supported by a diametrically expansible shaft insertable into the core and expanded to grip the core frictionally. Most conventional expansible roll core shafts employ a large number of relatively small, separate core-engaging elements expansible by a common internal air-expandable bladder. However, an increasingly popular type of shaft has straight, parallel slots cut longitudinally in its periphery in which are mounted respective straight, separate, air-expandable, resilient bladders overlain by respective straight core-contacting elements which extend throughout the length of the shaft.
