Sunlight Leather Exports, started in a humble way in 1998 as a small Leather products factory in Periamet, Chennai has grown into a full-fledged Manufacturer, Exporter and Marketer of the entire range of Leather Garments and Goods.

The main Objectives in promoting Sunlight was to take a Unique position in the Market by making available new and different designs thereby kindle the fascination of the Customer towards Leather Products in general and to Sunlight's products in particular.

A solid domestic market has been developed and to reach out to the last customer, Sunlight operates three state of the art show rooms in Chennai. The third and latest one is the largest such exclusive retail point with the whole range of Leather Products all under one roof.,

Being a regular exporter of Leather Products to such discerning markets like Europe and the US, Sunlight places a high premium on the quality of Leather and other materials used such as lining material etc. Only non-Bendazine, PCP free and Azo free materials are used from reliable vendors. Mr. Gani began his career in the airline industry and after putting in over two decades working in various parts of the world, returned to Chennai to set up his dream project, a small Leather unit. Ably supported by Mrs. Gani, what started as a tiny 2-machine factory has today grown into a reasonable large set-up with direct exports, bulk corporate customers, Wholesale retail customers and direct retail outlets in Chennai.

The major credit for bringing up the unit to its present level should go to his innovative style of functioning and a very hard working nature. A perfectionist to the core Mr.Gani is now an authority on Leather and Leather business.

An enlightened woman entrepreneur, Mrs. Gani balances her time between her family needs and that in the business. She manages the day-to-day activities at the Factory, Production sequencing, the commercial activities, like Banking and other functions, including supervision of the two showrooms.

With an in-depth knowledge of the Leather business, she handles all customers with aplomb and is quite at home with the increasing pressures the growth in the business brings.
