SLM Metal (P) Ltd, was incorporated in the year 1992 at Rourkela, Orissa. The primary objective was the production of world class Copper Powder, backed by a team of potential scientists and engineers and above all, pilot plant facilities and superior R&D.

Since its inception, SLM has been manufacturing Copper Powder, and Copper Oxide. The Company forayed into the production of Iron Powder. Here too the company met with instant success. Incidentally Orissa was the first place in the world where sponge iron was made. Our company then moved on to add new credits to its name and added products such as Spherical Bronze which was again a success, satisfying customers with its quality and efficiency to meet the requirement.

The next in line was addition of Alloying Tablets with a vision to serve the vast Alloying needs of the Aluminum Industry. With our openness to feedback from customers and our continuous R&D efforts, we achieved success here in very little time and now we are preffered vendors for companies for the quality and very less pickup time.

We also make Brass Chips for Brake Lining industry and achieved success in the same with time. With our R & D team, we are constantly moving up by constantly improving our quality and adding new products to our sleeve to serve the growing industry needs.
