Types : It is available in six roller styles.
The Smaco1 has only one roller and is compact in size for easy handling. The Smaco2 offers two rollers for more size and stability. The Smaco3 and Junior have three rollers for higher capacity. In contrast, the Smaco4 and Smaco5 are equipped with chains instead of rollers. The Smaco6 is provided with six rollers and combines high capacity with smooth, quiet operation.
TOP PLATES :A large variety of top plate designs are available. Options include : holding teeth, swivel turntable, rubber pads, and a trigger locking mechanism which can be operated with a special T-Bar handle.
CAPACITY: Capacity for the single Smaco Series Roller Skids range from 0.75 to 15 tons. This wide range of capacities allows for most of any customer application.
ROLLERS :The Smaco1,2,3 and 6 are available using polyurethane, nylon or metal rollers. Each roller uses two high quality shielded ball bearings for easy mobility. The Smaco4 chain is composed of twelve rollers. The Smaco 5 chain consists of fourteen rollers and is also wider for a more favorable distribution of weight.
ACCESSORIES :Available accessories include T-Bar handles and tandem connectors Tandem connectors enable units to be connected together, increasing capacity, reducing moving time, and improving balance.
KITS :All Smaco Roller Skid styles are available as a kit. Each kit contains 4 rollers, T-Bar handle and tandem connectors. All parts fit into a heavy duty steel carrying case for easy mobility to any job ( Standard for Junior, Smaco 1 to 4 Kits, optional for Smaco 5 and 6 )
A tapered plate design incorporated for joining the end carriages to the girders thereby ensuring smooth flow of stresses.
The end carriages are incorporated with L.T. wheels machined out of En-8 forged blanks and mounted on 'L' type bearing housings with anti-friction bearings

Mast Fabricated from Pipe/Rolled Steel Steel Sections..
M. S. Gusset plates/thick base plate giving added rigidity to column.
Base plate readily drilled to take six/eight holding down bolts.
Jib arm fabricated from heavy section I beam for SMJC-1 and triangular truss construction or SMJC-2 & SMJC-3 type of jib cranes reduces deflection to acceptable limits.
Bearings - Double roller self aligned type bearings with thrust & roller bearings to take care of horizontal & vertical loadings as well as radial thrust.
Swivelling - Through chain at the end of the jib arm and / or hand cranking for easy manual swivel, alternately electrically operated swivelling for SMJC-3 type jib crane, on request.
For positive full 360 degree rotation duly insulated brass swing springs with pantograph current collectors provided.
A Computer or microprocessor would be controlling this operation. A bulb will get illuminated for the items called for. The drive part of the system consists of a motor, gear box, chains and sprockets, brake, hand cranking etc will be on the right hand side and will be fully accessible to the maintenance people without providing access to the bins. It will be possible to do the hand cranking in case of power failure of any other defect in the system for taking the material out. The other side will have the controller, Sensors and relays fuses etc.
The long shelves will be sturdy enough to take the specified load of the components and the bins. The carriers will be designed with the provision for partition plates for creating internal bins. Carriers will have front retainers of 150 mm.
The system will have single window wherein material shall go inside and come outside from the single window. The window will be on the front side.
CONTROLS / KEYBOARD :-A membrane type keyboard will be mounted on the carousel which will be used for carrier no bin/no calling. Manual UP / DN operation of the carousel will be through 2 push buttons switches provides on the control panel. Interfacing with computer will be throughRS232 port provided in the control panel. The display unit will have 7 segment type 6 digits display in 1 row only for computer mode the display unit will be the computer monitor itself. The software will provide a facility to the operator to create a database for the components stored in the carousel. Database will have data for each component like component number, description, carrier number, bin number, present qty., max.level, min.level. The present qty will be updated as per the transacted qty after the transaction. A stock report printing facility will be provided from the software.
SYSTEM OPERATION :The carousel operation will be by 4 types :Component to calling operation. List mode operation./Carrier no calling operation/ Manual up / down push button operation.
Design : SMACO Hoists are designed as per IS-3938 for Class-II, III, IV, operations.
Motors : We offer 1/2 hr/ 1hr. rated totally enclosed motors Confirming to IS-325 with comparatively higher H.P and high starting torque, flange mounted type to suit our design and with Class F insulation.
Gear Box : Reductions are through helical gears for efficient & smooth running of Hoist. Complete gear train is oil immersed.
Rope Drum : Rope Drum is manufactured from seamless pipe machined and grooved on working surface. The drum is supported on two deep groove ball/roller bearings.
Bearings : Ball/Roller-Antifrication Bearings of reputed make i.e. SKF/ or equivalent are used on all rotating parts. Heavy duty bearings selected, so that rated life of bearings is more than 9000 hrs.
Trolleys : Push-pull, Hand geared or motorised trolleys of adjustable type & fitted with Ball Bearings are made to suit recommended size of Beams.
Hoisting Speed : We offer hoisting speed as per customer's requirement to save time & increase productivity.
Limit Switches : Snap action type limit switches are provided to avoid over hoisting and overlowering, actuated by Rope Guide. C.T Limit switches also can be provided as an optional feature. Precision workmanship of all components minimize losses and increase efficiency.
Cage lifts / Goods lifts are manufactured in various sizes to suit different capacities of pay load. We are manufacturing standard cagelifts as well as flame-proof cagelifts. CAGE : Cage is fabricated from rolled steel section and M. S. plates these are strong enough & robust construction. These cagelifts are provided with collapsible doors & landing platforms.
HOISTING ARRANGEMENT : We are providing Electric Hoist Block with push pull trolley of require capacity. In hoisting mechanism we are providing 4 fall Wire Rope reviving system which give absolute vertical movement to cage. Push pull trolley will compensate misalignment in cage guide track if any.
CAGE GUIDE TRACKS : Special machines T sections are used as cage guide tracks. Guides are provided on cage. Lubrication is used to reduce the friction, wear & tear between T track & guide.
