Local heat treatment facility offered by us works on using electricity as source of heating for stress relieving of weld joints. Our heat treatment services are designed to minimize downtime, improve structural integrity as well as enhance effective plant life. Additionally, depending on mobility of the required equipment, many of the offered heating processes can also be applied on-site. Service Features:
Services backed by specialized personnel & equipment
Expertise in carrying out a wide range of heat treatment processes like post weld heat treatment of vessels, piping, spheres & fabricated spools
Specialization in local post weld heat treatment of carbon steel piping welds (pipe-work, headers, flange joints) by means of electrical resistance method
Codes and Standards:
ASME B31.3: Process Piping
ASME Sec IX: Welding and Brazing Qualification
AWS D10.10: Local Heat treatment of Welds in Piping and Tubing
All equipment in use has a valid current calibration certificate
Temperature control equipment is manually operated, through energy regulators or automatically operated using modular controls
Recording of temperature for electrical resistance method
Induction heating method done by means of calibrated chart type temperature recorders
Commitment to Safety
Due reference is made to Safety Plans, Task Risk Assessments & Safety Method Statements that are linked to the work being carried out
All heating elements thoroughly examined for ensuring element wire is not exposed
Due examination made for broken beads in both heater pad & element tails
Twist-lock connection examined to ensure insulation is sound & a good electrical joint is made
All cable connections properly insulated
Component surfaces free of contaminants
Before Heat Treatment is switched on, attention is paid to work area for ensuring there are no combustible materials present that can be affected by heated zone
Documentation & Reporting of Test Results
Time temperature curves on recorder chart are marked to identify corresponding thermocouples
Local PWHT Report Form is filled & handed over to client for purpose of generic records
Thermocouple identification form will fixed on chart after PWHT cycle
We offer inspection of lifting tools and tackles. Our experienced and well defined approach allow us to effectively undertake stage wise inspection of Process Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Reactors, Distillation Columns, Storage Tanks, Pipelines and other equipment. These inspections are carried out as per defined national & international codes like ASME, ANSI, API, BIS.
We have with us qualified & experienced personnel for carrying out following inspection related activities :
