We, S. Mathivathani Trader, are a private limited company and are leading manufacturer, supplier and exporter of cotton/cotton-blended fabrics and spandex knitted fabrics. Our company deals in knitted fabrics, hosiery fabric, knitted banian cloth, Module fabrics knitted spandex and others. Believing in manufacturing quality products, we deliver quality as per US and European standards for textiles and other fabric products. Established in the year 1874, as a ginning mill factory by Mr. Ko. Mu. Chadavadan Chettiar, our company, S. Mathivathani Trader (established in 1993) is now enjoying its success and good name in fabric sector under the leadership of Mr. Ashok Chitharth (Chief executive officer) and Mr. T Selvaraju (Chairman). They have with them decades of experience in the textile field & are reputed knitters of cotton fabrics.and MODULE fabrics

Having a 10 000 sq.ft. area for manufacturing plant, we have extensive expertise in the fabric manufacturing sector. Our company was also the first company to supply single jersey (fine) and double jersey (rib design) with spandex knitted in the fabric designs. Today, we strive towards delivering quality fabrics to our clients in both standard and customized finishes and at competitive prices to meet their budgetary requirements. We have a team of approx. 50 personnel. Our team includes personnel from different departments. Our skilled employees assist us in the manufacturing of the fabrics and also help us in efficiently handling the management and administration operations of our company. The collective working of our employees has enabled us to successfully emerge as one of the leading suppliers in our industry, meeting the diverse fabric requirements of the domestic and overseas markets.

Our modern infrastructure facilities and presence of latest technology incorporated machinery equipment allow us to successfully manufacture a wide range of fabrics like cotton and polyester spandex knitted fabrics in varied finishes. The services of experienced industry professionals also allow us to judiciously make use of the available raw materials like cotton, which is procured from the spinning mills and and process it into an enchanting range of fabrics. Further the use of imported knitting machines (German make) like Mayer & Cie Knitting machines, allow us to ensure comfort and durability to the ultimate consumers. Our consistent approach has also helped us to achieve production capacity of 250 metric tons per month and meet the varied demands of our global clients.

Our company maintains premium quality standards in the manufacturing of the fabrics. We are following the quality parameters for our textiles as mentioned by the US and European standards. Further the quality of our raw material is maintained as per ISO specifications. At the manufacturing units, the process of carrying out various checks at all levels is maintained by our company. Further the products are also analyzed by in house testing department for ensuring flawless quality standards. Sometimes, external agencies are also involved in our quality checks for ensuring that only the best quality fabrics are delivered to cater to the rising global market demands.

Our consistent day to day working has helped us to make a mark of ourselves in the fabric sector. Some of the future plans include:

• We have the future plan to enhance our productivity to 150 metric tons.
• In the field of technology, installation for additional imported knitting machine is on the main agenda.
• Diversification into the garment manufacturing and dealing in spandex and spandex-based products is also on the list.
• To cope the competitiveness of the fabric sector, adoption of fast delivery schedule for the international specifications is also maintained.
