In this category we have model eyes which show diseases like rop & retinal detachment in a normal eye, the retina can only be visualised with the aid of diagnostic lenses / microscopes / retinal imaging equipments. Our model eye consists of an acrylic eye with either 8mm or 2mm pupillary aperture and the entire internal structure of retina. The artificial globe is a so filled up with silicon oil so as to resemble vitreous filled posterior chamber of the normal eye. These model eyes are very helpful for the professors to demonstrate various pathologies to their student as they would appear in a natural eye of the affected patients. These model eyes are specifically designed to allow viewing of the anterior chamber angle of the eye with the help of goniolens. All the landmark structures of the angle can be seen with precision and hence these model eyes are usefitl for doctors to demonstrate and teach mock gonioscopy techniques to the students in absence of real patients. We also make model eyes for slit lamp analysis. These are eyes which can be fixed on the chin rest stand of the slit lamp and then demonstrate utility of the slit lamp and the BIO lenses like the 901:08D in examining the retina.
