Tax audit  :

Auditing the accounts of an organization in accordance with the provision of the Income Tax laws of India and providing disclosures through specified formats.

Management audit :

Audits which are requested by the management i.e. reviewing special purpose accounts, cost centre audit etc.

Special investigation audit :

Audits which are carried out at the request of the management to investigate issues like suspected frauds, misappropriations.
