S. N. Ananthasubramanian is a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Mumbai and a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
He is the Proprietor of the S N ANANTHASUBRAMANIAN & CO., (SNA&CO) a firm of Practising Company Secretaries since 1991.
Shri Ananthasubramanian and his team have been associated with leading listed public sector banks in India and leading listed corporates in matters of Consulting, Certifications, Audits, Postal Ballots, Governance Issues, Due Diligence, etc.
Shri Ananthasubramanian has also been associated with several NGOs in their management,governance mechanism both in induction and implementation.
Shri Ananthasubramanian is an elected member of the Central Council of ICSI the highest decision making body for the profession of Company Secretaries in India for a four year term from 2007 to 2010. He is a member of various Committees including Capital Markets Committee, Practising Company Secretaries Committee, and Training, Education & Facilities Committee since 2007. He has been the Chairman of ICSI-Centre of Corporate Research & Training in Navi Mumbai ICSI's Research and Training arm since 2007 and has taken several initiatives to place ICSI-CCRT amongst the top training centres in this part of the country.
Shri Ananthasubramnian has many contributions to his credit the most noteworthy of them being his pioneering role in the introduction by Reserve Bank of India of Diligence Report in 2008 to be obtained from professionals preferably, Practising Company Secretaries of adherence to statutory prescriptions in vogue by borrowing Companies in respect of multiple-banking arrangements by all commercial banks (Indian and Foreign) for multiple-banking arrangements including urban co-operative banks.
Mr. Ananthasubramanian is a regular speaker in seminars, workshops, conferences and conventions and his views and articles have appeared in various leading newspapers in India.
