M/S S.N. Crop Science (Prop: Smt Pravesh Kulshrestha) is proprietorship firm registered on Dt. 25th May 2005.vide registration no. 2326A12420 as an SSI Unit in D.I.C, Pithampur (Dist-Dhar) with an object to manufacture pesticides, insecticides, fertilizers and plant harmones. The range we manufacture includes natural organic fertilizers, liquid organic fertilizers, agricultural pest control chemicals and crop disease control chemicals.
The consultant has prepared this project report on the basis of the information & data provided by the promoter and the same is collected from various other sources i.e. Similar Industries, Trade agencies, Market survey, literature etc. Further, the information & analytical study required which has been carried out mainly through discussions with the experienced & competent persons of the similar line. The promoters of the firm have got approvals from various state govt. & other local agencies as applicable on the project. The promoters has made considerable progress in the successfully implementation of the project. All the relevant techno-economic aspects of project have been discussed & considered in this report. It is intended that the project profiles help the promoters and financial institutions to determine the nature of the project, market of the product, requirement of plant & machinery, working capital, turnover, profitability, ratio analysis etc. and over all conclusions on technical, economical & feasibility of the project.

The range of pesticides, fertilizers and plant harmones we manufacture includes alfa flower - n nitro benzene, alfa plus apple special, alfa plus organic manure, bio alfa plus, alpha plus zinc high, biotic bio stimulant, profenosyn, monocrotophos synphos insecticide, synaxyl, syngrip herbicide, synphate insecticide and synprid insecticide.

The unit requires 8 H.P. power connections. For this purpose they have deposited the security amount and got sanction letter from M.P.E.B Pithampur. |

Laboratory
The pesticides product requires desired scarification, stringent quality control of input material & output finished goods. A laboratory is necessary for determination of properties of various technical & other adjutants as per desired quality in the finished products. Marketing And Selling Arrangement
The promoter of the unit is well conversant well the marketing, aspects of the proposed venture. The unit will manufacture different products of liquid organic fertilizers, agricultural pest control chemicals, Pesticides, Hormones & fertilizers at a large scale and will strictly maintain good quality, the unit will sale above product different packing sizes, grace & varity by its own brand name i.e Alfa Plus (G) Alfa Plus, Alfa Flower, Alfa Gold. The demand of this product continuously growing up and the competitors of these products in this area are limited.
The unit will market its product through direct sales team, wholesalers, dealers & distributors, in the state Maharashtra, Rajasthan , Gujarat and local market of Madhya Pradesh etc. The marketing policy of our unit would be "The Total Customers Satisfaction". |

Manufacturing Process
For the preparation of liquid organic fertilizers, crop disease control chemicals, pesticides, fertilizers and plant hormones (in Liquid & Granule form) the raw materials are chemically operated to mixing, grinding, blending collection, testing etc. For this different machinery & equipments are required.
First raw material i.e. solvents, chemical and other ingredients are weighed and then mixed in a proper ratio in an agitator. They are then stirred with slow speed & then Transferred through a pump to the holding tank for testing. After the testing the final product- then goes to the packing section i.e. bottle filling, cap sealing, labeling, induction & foil sealing. Further, they are packed in corrugated boxes and bags for transportation . |

About The Project & Market Demand
Contribution of pesticides formulations, plant harmones, natural organic fertilizers, agricultural pest control chemicals, and other products is of immense importance in crop protection for the Indian Agriculture. These are an important input for enhancing the agriculture production by reducing crop losses and ensuring the optimum utilization of other inputs such as fertilizers and seeds.
The loss in the crops due to pests, diseases and weeds etc. has been reckoned at 15-20% in traditional agriculture and is known to exceed 50% in Intensive Agriculture. Thus, with the increasing use of fertilizers, Hi-Yielding varieties of seeds and multiple cropping patterns, the scientific application of pesticides & plant hormones has become a necessity. There is a much demand of food production due to increase in population and attention to public health & protection of the environment is must. Pest control in agriculture is an integral part of the development of every country. Pests harm crops and transmits diseases therefore, pest control is very necessary. For this many synthetic organic pesticides have been developed.
It is seen that number of Insecticides, Herbicides, Fungicides & other chemicals persist for only few weeks/months on agricultural crops so; now a day's use of pesticides is more appreciable due to its persistence. Now a day the use of Pesticides & Plant hormones is increasing rapidly due to awareness in farmers. Thus, the firm will manufacture various types of pesticides which are required for different types of pests for different crops. |
