Shree Nursingsahay Mudungopal is a 150 years old trading organisation of the MUNDHRA family of Bikaner in Rajasthan. Starting as a trader in piece goods & sundry products, Shri Jamuna Das Jce Mundhra, grandfather of the Present Chairman, Shri Baldeo Das Mundhra, foresaw the prospects of electricals and started the ELECTRICAL line of business, as early as 1914 at Calcutta. The possibility of developing international trade was visualised way back in 1915 and the firm secured the sole selling agency for INDIA, BURMA and CEYLON for the products of well known JAPANESE manufacturer SUMITOMO WIRES and CABLE CO.

By now, Shri Damodar Das Mundhra, father of the Present Chairman Shri Baldeo Das Mundhra, joined the business and with increasing business activities, in MAY 1930, the electrical business was transferred to a corporate entity, SHREE NURSINGSAHAY MUDUNGOPAL ELECTRIC CO LTD, of which Shri Damodar Das Mundhra was Founder Director. Shree Nursingsahay Mudungopal Electric Co Ltd, was the FIRST electrical trading corporate identity of the Indian origin and subsequently offices were opened at all the major trade centers across India.
